You could argue that Manny has declined more than marquez since there last fight.

I wasn't fussed about it, but now its signed i thik it will be good.

I've always wanted manny to win so he gets the mayweather fight. But now that that fight has lost all relevance, i'm going for the underdog.

Not really. Pacquiao's performance was much better than Marquez's last performance, especially when you take in to account the quality of opposition.

 

Its hard to Gage with Marquez i think, because he only really looks good against come forward fighters.

But personally, i'm expecting another competitive fight, and leaning towards a marquez win this time. With him getting the decision

Not sure. I wrote Marquez off completely last time. So I don't really want to do that again.

But I posted in another thread a few weeks back explaining why I think Pacquiao will be more up for this one than ever for the following reasons.

Marquez will probably never be more up for a bout than he was for the third (chased Pacquiao for years).
Pacquiao will NOT underestimate Marquez this time (if he actually did).
Marquez and the majority know that he won the last bout clearly, rather than the other two bouts that could have gone either way (linked in to the first point).

I think Marquez's last showing against Pacquiao may have been his last great performance (I hope not and he is very competitive). Whereas, I think Pacquiao has at least one more great showing in him.

Manny tried to get an easy fight with Cotto,was turned down so he fights Juan a 4th time "even though he admitted he felt he beat him 3 times" but yet wont redeem himself with Timmy,fight the older guy.

Once again Manny knows he can get a gift decision with Juan,and you know he is gonna steal rounds like he did with Timmy.

 

Agree which is why he dodged him,if Tim was such an easy fight he could beat him and then fight Floyd to retire.. Pac could not put a away a feather fisted guy with 2 bad feet and Pac knows this..

 

yes you could, but in Timmy he fought a retreating boxers game too. So you could see how he was at forcing the fight.

 

Some good points, and like you, assumed Manny would destroy him last time.

However, I think Manny gave it everything and don't buy the "he took marquez lightly" You only have to watch 24/7 to see that. How he was apparently a machine, and going mental.

The worst thing manny did was being too cautious and believing he could out box marquez.
