Do you honestly believe that or you being argumentative. personally i had Pac winning 5 clear rounds against Bradley, Bradley winning 1 clear round. So you could technically score it for Bradley if you gave him every close round. Like how in William, Martinez 1, some score cards were so lopsided, in reality, all close rounds were going to williams. Marquez won maybe 3 clear rounds against Pac, so i'd say its not the same personally. When Marquez/Manny finished i was thinking this could go either way here. When Manny/Bradley finished, i wasn't even listening, i just assumed manny won that one
these are you score cards right? Both Valid Scorecards, but if you'll find alot of Marquez rounds were close rounds that you could also score for Manny. That wasn't the case in the Pac Bradley fight.
Those numbers reflect a drunken night of watching fights through beer goggles and from the vantage point of the bottom of many shot glasses. Tim won maybe 2 rounds semi clearly...all the other rounds he threw the jab....landed very little and was in retreat. The punch stats were ridiculously in favor of PAC. PAC threw more, landed more and had the higher connect percentage and it wasn't even close. In some other rounds TIM threw enough Jabs to "outwork" Manny but in reality PAC landed the much cleaner and more damaging blows throughout the fight. Tim used the Jab to "keep away"...and in the process show he was "fighting back". It really was embarrassing for him. JMM vs PAC 3 had more close rounds....PAC was the aggressor but Juan was the more efficient technician. While PAC controlled pace....JMM controlled distance. PAC would land more, throw more but his connect percentage wasn't as good as JMM who went with QUALITY over QUANTITY. I went with JMM's Quality work vs the Quantity PAC went with.
When Manny/Manny finished, i wasn't even listening, i just assumed JMM won that one. Shocking decision, not enough close rounds that it could have gone either way. When Marquez/Bradley finished i was thinking "Alright, Pac scraped by, but boy is he looking shitty these days to let it be this close.." :conf
Why do they keep putting Manny in with a superior boxer who has his number? Best case scenario is a close fight with Manny getting another undeserved decision. Manny gonna be on the end of them right hands again, what on earth is Bob Arum thinking? SMH...
it was the most high profile one. No way was it the worse. Rios Abril was miles worse. It was just high profile. It was a close fight that Marquez deserved to get the nod. No matter how many times you argue it i'm not gonna change my mind on that. People throw out robbery more freely than classics like Shot, weigh drained, bum and hyped these days.
Its called taking a risk. And Manny has a history of doing it more than any other boxer of the last 20 years. More fighters should take a leaf out of his book
Well, I stand corrected, that's true. Manny is a fighter, but Arum should know better, Arum is the one handling his business.
Pac-JMM 3 was close and could of went either way. Pac-Bradley was not close at all and was a robbery.
Other way around, except that Pac-Bradley while close couldn't have really gone either way. Pacquiao beat Bradley close but clear. Marquez beat Pacquiao clear, not even close.
