Let me attempt to don the robe of impartiality.

Boxing needs Mayweather Vs Pacquaio - period. The contractual tooing and froing has done all the marketing needed to make this fight an instant sell-out and extremely profitable for both fighters.

I'm not buying into the bull**** that's erupted over Floyd's random blood testing demands, which requires BOTH fighters to be subjected to random blood tests. Mayweather snr and others in the business have perhaps unfairly brought into question the legitamacy of Pac's recent victories over solid contemporaries at a higher weight division than his natural own.

As I see it, a fight of this magnitude requires that no stone is left unturned to ensure that both fighters enter the ring without any drug based or other unfair advantages. Why Pac's camp would choose to make this stipulation a big deal confounds me and arguably any other reasonable boxing fan.

Does this request make Mayweather look like a *****? To some definately and to others probably. However, for me and many others who can view this beyond the confines of being a diehard Pac or Mayweather fan, Pacman's failure to agree to this testing will only authenticate the direct or indirect allegations that he's using some form of performance enhancing drug.

Let's be clear, Mayweather will gain no advantage from Pac taking these random drug tests, and I don't, for one nano second, buy into the smoke screen that Pac's afraid, superstitious or has a phobia towards having blood extracted. Whilst I don't profess to be medically qualified, I'm certain that we're not talking about blood transfusion proportions but rather a test tube or twos worth.

Let us not forget Cotto Vs Margarito - the validity of Margarito's victory has been rendered null and void since it was discovered, prior to subsequently fighting Mosely, that his hand wraps contained some form of plaster based agent. I'm sure if Cotto could go back in time he'd damn well make sure that his opponents fulfilled only the most stringent of drugs and other testing.

Pac - please agree to the random tests so that I can confirm arrangements to spend upto 2500 pounds/ 4000 us dollars to see a fight worth paying for.
