Why bring up the lineal title anyway. What about wlad never being undisputed.

Wlad was lineal since either Ibragimov or Chagaev.

But there is no way he was the actual champion after beating a shot Byrd that was barely holding onto his title. He still hadn't beaten Brewster, or Liakhovich who beat Brewster, or Briggs who beat Liakhovich.

He was a title holder, end of.

Whether his defenses should count or not is another matter.

Only a mentally ill troll thinks the champ is not the champ just because he believes so contrary to the rest of the world. Congratulations on surpassing the medals at the Special Olympics...

All of that nonsense died years ago. Also, when Lewis retired, everything after that was up in the air. Wlad and Peter were the top two contenders in the world and Byrd was the longest standing Champ. Lewis had retired, Vitali has retired, the WBC belt was meaningless at that point. When Wlad beat Peter and then beat Byrd... Wlad clearly became the true champ in the division. He also unified other titles, and beat Chagaev who was the real WBA Champ, even though the stripped him right before their fight. The only belt that he never took was the worthless WBC belt that was between his brother and whoever else was holding it whenever he exited the sport. Including Peter, who Wlad had already beat.

If we only had 1 title, this wouldn't be an issue... and we all know that Wlad would have been the one holding it. If you are one of those boxing fans who gives that much power to those silly ABC orgs, that do nothing but pimp out the division for profit, then you are half of the problem with boxing today.

Who cares, Tyson Fury beats up Joe Louis and all his opponents. A 5'11 fighter like Schmeling was able to hit Joe Louis at will, imagine a larger 6'8 skilled giant will do to him. Tyson Fury is incredibly skilled.

Look at this Ring magazine fan boy, following Oscar's ratings. Can't escape his Egyptian genes to follow superior leaders.
