Getting caught cold

    This happens in a lot of sports. Football, cricket the list goes on, I think it has something to do with individuals abilities to warm up but maintain it without cooling dowm after a rest period, I.e kick off, ring walks etc... There is always a period between a warm up and the actual event starting

    My pick. Plenty of knockdowns, but wasn't called chinny. Outside of Hop who took him into deep waters/late rounds all his kds were early.

    Foreman used to talk about this often on HBO's live telecasts. Entering that ring "bone dry" is a key ingredient in certain recipes for getting KTFO.

    I can actually hear George's voice as I read this. He loved saying that when the opportunity surfaced, and his annunciation of that phrase was always exactly the same. :lol:
