I heard that Pavlik has been seen drinking heavily at bars in his hometown... I hope it's not the truth.
Yes, this is exciting. Two guys with a lot to prove.Pavlick wants to establish himself as an elite, and Taylor wants to regain some of the misplaced luster.Their styles mesh, it will be a fight! I pick Taylor, but only after some considerable blood, sweat, and tears.
Remember to go run and hide like pantera2000 did when all he did was talk smack about pavlik getting whooped by miranda and Pavlik then cleaned his clock. Interesting to see if your still around sept. 30.
Hey Marauder, have you been to any of Kellys workouts? Try to give of a sense of what the atmosphere is like in Youngstown these days. :huh
Haven't seen pavlik fight before so this will be my first time when its on skysports. I have seen taylor fight on 4 occassions the two against hopkins, wright and spinks and it seems to me that his heart was not in it. Thats my impression when watching but if anybody as a different opinion i would like to hear it.
Good fight. But not really hyped. Both are the best at the weight class but they also have no personality.
Not only does this have fight of the year type potential, this card is STACKED!!!!!! This is the type of event the fans in attendance will remember, enjoy, and recant about!!! Taylor vs Pavlik, Berto vs Estrada, Quintana vs Henry, Hearns vs Kamya, Sheika vs Taylor, PLUS the possibilty of Chazz Witherspoon and Terry Smith in seperate bouts??? That's a hell of a schedule when virtually every bout has a fighter with name recognition/interest!!! I cant wait for Taylor vs Pavlik, this will be a throwback type fight and should produce more fireworks than I saw on the 4th of July this year.
