Getting hit sparring

    when sparring always make sure your wearing no less than 16oz gloves this cusions the blow, sparring is practice not a fight ,the more you learn the more you enjoy

    Yep def use 16oz and headgear not sure if "cushion" is right word lol tho found ive been able to handle the hits and keep going....so far, most guys are 10kgs+ heavier than me as well

    Doing the "poker face" thing last session copped right to my nose it started bleeding didn't hurt much, guy asked if I wanted to continue i said yep 30 sec later second bam to same spot and nose started pouring it was running like a tapi to my mouth didn't worry me blood everywhere, so the other guy calls we better stop lol better work on my defence - lazy jab return.

    Plenty of shadow boxing, practice slips and rolls with a counters between 1-4 shot combo

    also pick a partner to just throw shots at you while moving around the ring, when your defense is better the punchers will flow with confidence, if you have no defense you will tense up and be even less active
