    I suspect there's a difference in the number of brain cells Freitas has left (and overall health) versus Gatti. I think you'll see the result of the wars Gatti has been in as he gets a bit older.

    There were plenty of times when no one would question Gatti if he retired on his stool but he kept coming out and the sport loves him for it and has paid him well.

    Freitas was just a quitter he was no where near death in his quits nor taking punishment that looked like would deal serious brain damage.


    Explain how is it ok for someone who decides to become a professional boxer and not expect to get injured.
