    I think people forget about Lennox, it may not of been an offical knockdown, but Akinwande did indeed floor him, and Lennox got up to win...;)

    The best example I can think of this is Joe Jeannette getting up 27 times to win against Sam McVey almost seems unreal to do that especially since the fight went 49 rounds.

    well shannon only got a shot becuase he was a donny king fighter.so his stock was an underdog so really thats just the choice of opponant.

    if lets say...davey moore came back and knocked out duran after being knocked down...that would be a far more accurate term for what this thread is about.

    I wasnt trying to post a 'Tyson get-out clause' , just stating something I feel could have been . Me saying Douglas benefited from the longcount is just as good as you saying he was waiting for the count to reach 9 - we dont know for sure , so if my post means zip , then yours does aswell . I wasnt being biased , just stating a fact in my post
