Genuinely astounded you can't see the glaring flaw in your logic here.

Ignore the names of the weight classes.

Weight class A - the maximum you can weigh is 140

Weight class B - the maximum you can weigh is 147

It doesn't matter which one of those you make Welterweight if you can still come in anywhere between 140 and 147 for the heavier class of the 2 - because that's the exact same circumstance as we have now.

The weight class of the fight is always their own decision anyway - even with catchweights. Nothing changes in this scenario.

lol, the fighters are zeroed to only one pound per weight class with no play room in the weight classes...and somehow you think it's the same.

Maybe they should just go back to the days of only 8 weight divisions.. No catchweight fights then.

Except you already said they can come in under the weight limit. Which means instead of the fight being at welterweight when a guy weighing 144 fights a guy at 144, it would now be at JMW. Nothing changes.

One pound in the actual weight class, or I guess they could go for the extremely advantageous act of coming in at 90 lbs huh?? lol, you're an idiot

Stupid, but irrelevant if they can weigh in under the limit, which you've already stated they could.

That there's only one pound in the weight class. Makes no difference if you can weigh below the limit. Exact same as it is now.

Only thing that's been changed is that there is no wiggle within the weight class, you can have the wiggle you want below it, but that's like saying you can have all the land in Siberia you want so who cares, much like it is now. But if you think that it's completely the same when you do not have any wiggle room within the actual weight class then I'm not sure what to tell you.

Your the one being dense.it's you changing the weight limits. if your made to come in at 140 guess what genius, that's what light welterweights have to weigh in at or if it's 141 your just adding a pound to the lww limit and calling it welterweight??
    Your idea is pointless

I would say more catch weights less belts... One champion...

I don't understand why guys don't get that belts, organizations, and promoters/Haymon are the problem...
If the best aren't forced to fight the best
Then it's just a game of tag..
