its not only about decreasing calories,There are other ways, There are skinny people who never exercise who eat what they want (junk food) and never put on weight. Higher metabolism = he can eat more of what he wants.
i know 2 ways that will make you lose your belly, first one is very fast results if you manage to do it and i have personal experience with i would eat lots of chocolate and cake and do step 1 and still remain very slim. 1.) Make your runs/jogs more intense, e.g Focus on just big hills, try find a steep long uphil track at least 0.5 mile to 1 mile long and run up and down it. If you can't find a long uphill or mountain track, get a Incline Treadmill and set it on a very high incline and try do 15-30 minutes on it everyday pure Incline. This will kill you. 2.) Heavy compound lifts will increase your metabolism and burn more calories, squats, deadlift, benchpress, and then do exercises to work the rest of the body, work your whole body. Do more work get more sets in and reduce the rest times.
You are eating to much for the level of physical activity you are engaging in. Either eat less or up the amount of work you put your body through. Eating less is the more sensible option if you already feel fatigued from what you do.
I think you're confusing the issue. To achieve his goal this guy needs to take in less calories and that's all there is to it.
Guys thank you for all the replys. Very interesting to see everyone's views. No doubt you all have your sucessful ways. For me I have 3x1 hour one to one a week with my coach, at the moment he his concentrating on building up my stamina buy gradually increasing my circuits each week. Started body sparring and this takes your fitness to a different level and that comes from a 3 hour marathon runner. Gonna start watching a bit more of what I eat gonna start reducing my calories but also training longer than the one hour by maybe jumping the treadmill and doing a 20-30min incline run. My training plan at the moment Monday - Rest Tuesday - 1 hour with trainer Wednesday - 5 mile run @ 7.30 minute mile Thursday - 1 hour with trainer and cricket training Friday - Rest Saturday - 1 hour with trainer and cricket match Sunday - Cricket match and sometimes 10k road race. Do I need to up my time in the gym with regards to maybe doing my own circuits???
Your training looks like it could do with some kind of interval training. I would also suggest you do some kind of relaxed shadow boxing on your rest days and since your trying to lose weight try going for a long walk on an empty stomach in the morning on those days to.
If only this were true... I can guarantee you if I ate junk food consistently I'd gain weight. It's funny hearing these people that "eat junk food but never put on weight" talk about their diet. They have a Mconalds meal maybe 3 times a week, maybe a pack of crisps and some chocolate. unless it's consisten it doesn't mean ****.
yes its very true, not everyones the same, i have had close freinds in the past who i known for 10+years, who just smoke lots of weed eat what they want, eat lots of pizza, never excercise. they are skinny and show 6 packs because there is hardly any fat on them. Higher metabolism is a big factor.
It's actually a myth. The difference with metabolism speed from person to person is very small, nowhere near enough to be even a small factor. The guys that don't gain weight don't gain weight because they eat like a 12 year old girl. Simple as that.
try this: comsume no more than 30g of carbs per day, no sodium and 2 gallons on water. Do this for 7 days and you will lose weight...
Yea, and higher metabolism = more calories burned, so like virus said, it all comes down to calories. Amen. Yea, do this if you just want to lose water weight instead of fat and even risk muscle breakdown due to lack of muscle hydration. :good
There's really no special secret to it other than calories. Ever see the dude who went on the twinkie diet and lost lbs and lowered body fat %? Same with that FatHead dude. I know cut up dudes who eat fast food often but they fit it into their macros so they stay cut and don't gain weight. Chad Johnson used to eat McDonalds every morning on the way to practice. It's all about cals in vs cals out.
