It really annoys me to watch a boxer perform so far from the level he used to perform on when he was in his prime. RJJ look like he is in slow-mo nowadays and allthough B-hop still can fight I think he is past his prime and he lost 3 out of his last 6 fights. Im sure there are much worse cases. Why is it so hard for a boxer to hang up the gloves ?

Boxers should be banned from the sport on their 35th birthdays. And any fighter who retires from the sport before that should have to remain so, no exceptions. :yep

Well just to state the ****in OBVIOUS:roll:

They ai'nt butcher/baker/candlestick makers or plumbers/builders/lawyers/doctors/car mechanics, shall i go on!!!!

It's what they do best, it's there trade, it's how they put food on the table, hence the term PROFFESIONAL PRIZE FIGHTER in effect for 99% of boxers it's all they now.

    THEY FIGHT FOR PAY:bbb

I would like for someone to tell you that at age 35, when your trying to feed a handful of kids and are used to a certain way of life. While I rather see Holyfield retire, before he has double digit losses on record or worse, dies in the ring. Though who am I to tell him when he should or shouldn't retire, leave it up to the individual, unless your willing to pay the man's bills.

It seems like you forget that the older boxers that gets offered fight usually are big names and boxers with great resume´s, and they usually don´t have problems bringing food on the table, there is only a few who gave Don King their credit card code :D

:patschRoger Mayweather would tell you what he was telling people in that last 24/7 series, and that is... "YOU DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING"

I hope you didn't see Foreman win the title at 45.
I hope you didn't see Hopkins make 20 defenses.
I hope you didn't see Hopkins smash a prime Middleweight champion.
I hope you didn't see Duran win his 4th world title.
I hope you didn't see Shane Mosley knock Margarito out.
I hope you didn't see Lennox Lewis smash Mike Tyson.
I hope you didn't see Vitali Kitschko smash Arreola.
I hope you didn't see JMM outclass and take Juan Diaz to school.
