I recently went to an amateur fight, looking around you see a few guys warming up using focus mitts or they'd be in the back hitting bags. I look at the fighters I came with an noticed they was just sitting there. Apparently their coach does not believe in any of that. Personally speaking it helps me. I'm wondering if anyone else coach think like that.

Do you. And if you think you have pointers then give the kids a heads up when the coach isn't directly working w them...for example tell that boy the importance of warming up a little sweat that he performs better that way...like a car do when you let it warm up.

Its down to the individual, plus the coach knowing what and who He is working with. Ive known guys prefer to relax or try too, and get there Head on. While others if given the chance, would over do it in warming up, and drain themselves. Ive known Fighters almost falling asleep in the Dressing room, but when the call you are on now, are on Fire. Had one Kid was like that, He had a 22 and 0, with 20 kos, always had a job waking Him up .
