It's almost hard to believe he would do this on purpose.

He knew he'd lose 100K either way, why not come in at 164 pounds? Why only add less than 2 pounds? I know every half pound is huge, but still...

If it was premeditated, then it was done so poorly and that person should be fired.

If GGG is as good as people think it shouldn't be an issue. If he's really p4p one of the best then he can give away weight, no problem. When Robinson was fighting as a middleweight he'd weigh 147 pounds to guys like LaMotta coming in at 161 or 162. LaMotta almost never made weight his whole career.

He probably feels he is at his ideal weight, not to heavy or not to light and does not want to risk being to slow if too heavy or drained if he tried to loose the extra weight. He is focused as hell right now, its his biggest fight ever.

Rubio did this intentionally. I hope they have to spatula his scaly arse of the canvas tomorrow. Would not suprise me if he also pissed dirty/fails his post fight drug test.

Bit behind here. Did he try to make weight in the 2 hours he had or did he just accept the fine?

Rubio, another disgraceful cheater from Mehico. A fight like this and shows disrespect. I hope GGG takes it out on him.

Rubio not making weight is unprofessional and looks very bad , is he scared and just resigned to defeat or is he scared and looking for any small advantage he can get
