That’s what I’m saying, he might not be looking to win rounds the first half of the fight, but he’ll be looking to set up damage during that time. By the second half of the fight, even if he’s behind on the cards, it won’t even matter because the knockout is what he needs. I see him trying to go for it or to floor him enough times where it makes the difference on the cards.
The odds would be 100/1 if they calculated GGG'S chances of winning by points with the corrupt judging.
He's been the wrong decision of both wins twice, he's slower, more Hittable and probably less powerful overall. Canelo still hasn't shown chin problems.
Nobody other than a cruiserweight or heavyweight can KO Golovkin. Let's rule out "Golovkin loses by KO". Options left are: - Golovkin wins by KO - Golovkin wins by decision - Canelo wins by decision - Draw Golovkin, who has terrible defence and blocks almost all shots by his head, is likely to lose lots of rounds. Canelo has good my movement and gained lots of experience in SMW. He tasted lightheavyweight power against Bivol, and I'm sure it contributed to his punch resistance, considering he is only 31 years old. So, most probably Canelo will win by unanimous decision, wide.
So then, it would be, what are the odds of GGG winning by KO? lf the judges from the Bivol fight are in jail for allowing the fight score to be so close, then the odds would be better for GGG winning on points, if they are not in jail or suspended, then there is almost zero chance of GGG winning on points.
I dont think he is less powerful. Look what he did against Rolls, Szeremeta, and Murata. Berlanga could do nothing with Rolls, Munguia couldn't drop Szeremeta and GGG dropped him 4 times, and Murata was never stopped by anyone else, plus Golovkin is going up, he will bring his power.
I would be happy to see GGG win anyway he can as long as he gets the win,GGG is due a bit of the luck that Canelo seems to have in any of his close fights so here’s hoping .
This third fight will be interesting to see if the extra weight will benefit GGG or play more into Canelos hands .
Bivol's style and length is what made Canelo look like garbage. Golovkin can't fight like that any more and never had bivol's reach-based game.
Third fight will be a slugfest. Golovkin looked like a tank against Murata and Canelo never had good feet anyway. GGG will try bust him up with short hooks, uppercuts and that skull compactor punch he does. Canelo will try to set up huge punches to take GGG's head off with. golovkin doesn't have the legs anymore to get away imho, so they will be hammer and anvil on each other. People will look back on it and say wtf did I just watch. Hagler Hearns coming up.
