GGG and Canelo are tied

    Watching these two is like watching twins fight.

    They are the exact same level against each other (I feel Golovkin would fair better against some canelo has struggled with), not a hair between them in the second fight. They both gave and took hits that 95% of other fighters would have wilted from. They both pushed themselves past the point many fighters have backed down at.

    At the twilight of his career Golovkin gave Canelo probably the most difficult and intensive fight he’ll experience until he retires. And Canelo gave Golovkin the fight that truly proved his chin and heart and sheer will to win.

    Either man could have won tonight. Minute subtleties separates these guys.

    I don’t see why you should disrespect one over the other. I had my doubts about Canelo but he stood in the middle of the ring and proved he’s on the same level as Golovkin. I don’t think he’s above him or below him. Like maypac I view them as pretty much equal.

    I wish Golovkin could turn back the clock and we could have a cold hard trilogy, but I’m not sure if that will happen given his age.
