owe i agree 110% no way in hell grant would risk it all like that. i think its definitely possible that GGG and his team tamper with his own gloves ?

i honestly dont think rosado has any reason to say what he is saying. time will tell no doubt

There's always a commission rep in the dressing room when they wrap hands and get on gloves, who then puts his signature on wraps.
Time already told when he KOd Bute in the ams in 16ounce gloves, and in sparring KDd Kovalev and broke ribs of George Groves, also in bigger gloves. Not to mention his pro wins off course with regular 10 ounce gloves.

Why can't some people just face the fact that some bloke out of some remote part of the world (in boxing terms) can beat the living sh*t out of the rest of the division?
And more importantly, if everybody complains about the quality of modern boxing, their activity level and the willingness to fight other beltholders in their division, why don't they rejoice when someone like Golovkin comes along?!

Is where a guy comes from really that important to people that they do anything to belittle his accomplishments so they can feel better about themselves? That would be pretty sad, but I see it over and over again.

People dismissing Rosado like they were in the ring with Golovkin.

Did you at least read the letter Grant sent to Rosado in response to his allegations via the Scene?

No magic gloves, no foul play, we are witnessing a freak of nature. Some Fans are mad that a guy from a country that most can not pronounce on the first try, is beating the crap out of everyone that steps into the ring with him. What's more, is that he isn't dominating some lowly weight class like Lomachenko, Rigondeaux(no disrespect), but rather a premier weight class that was largely American dominant. From 160, he could make the leap to 168 and threaten Froch or Ward. He could also opt to sweat off a few pounds and challenge Alvarez, Mayweather, Pacquiao. He is either your currently your favorite fighter or a huge threat to your favorite fighter. Like the K brothers, he is here to reign for a very long time. I had my reservations about Golovkin too, but at this point, he has proven he is the truth. He hits you, you go to sleep, better than taking an ambien.

The real question is who read it to Rosado? Unless the letter contained several pictures, some of the pop up variety.

Now talk to me about your hero Marquez and that new PEDs regimine :)

I guess he learned it from Vargas? Or maybe Salido? Morales?

    Not this crap again?

Just as many of his sparring partners have praised his power as have former opponents of his. I'm talking about fighters from his own division all the way up to HW. From Geale, Proksa, Macklin, and Rosado to Tyrell Hendrix (LHW), Tavoris Cloud (LHW) Derek Findley, Latif Mundy, Lamar Russ, Sergey Kovalev (LHW), Tony Harrison, Ryan Coyne (CW) and HW David Imoesiri etc.

He beats up HWs in sparring whilst wearing big gloves. He sent the 230-250lb Vincent Thompson packing after a week.

Others have said they've seen him do the same to much heavier guys in the gym too.

'Ola Afolabi said to Sky Ringside “I think it’s going to be a knockout. The guy [Golovkin] hits incredibly hard. I’ve been in the ring with heavyweights, cruiserweights, light heavyweights, and I get in the ring with this kid and every time he hits me, I say whoa''

Ryan Coyne (former CW now LHW)

''He’s a f__king beast,” said Coyne, a 20-0 cruiserweight prospect who has recently dropped down to light heavyweight. “He’s been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him.''

“I’ve sparred with heavyweights who can punch, including Mariusz Wach and Mike Perez, nobody has hit me as hard as Golovkin. His power is out of this world.”

''I spent my summer up in Big Bear training with Gennady Golovkin who is emerging as the most murderous puncher in the boxing. I watched former champions, light heavies, cruisers, and even heavies get sent home.''

    David Imoesiri HW

“The dude can hit, I’m still getting used to it,” said Imoesiri, who like Coyne, is delightfully bright and articulate. “It’s crazy. I sparred with [undefeated WBA heavyweight beltholder] Alexander Povetkin and he never hurt me like this guy.''

“I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over. I got through it but it’s hard to defend against 6-inch punches with that much pop. He backs me into a corner with just a jab.

“And it seems like he does it effortlessly.”

    ''Golovkin has freakishly unreal power''

''Golovkin hits like a LHW. And that's coming from someone who can take a punch''

So he was wearing doctored gloves when he was bashing up all those guys in the gym too? lol

He must've also been wearing them when he knocked Bute senseless with a single right hand bomb in the amateurs as well. How many clean shots did it take the very heavy-handed Froch to get Bute out of there?

Do I understand you right? You're saying that Grant wouldn't risk modifying their own gloves but think team GGG might have done?

I think you didn't, perhaps, fully understand the full import of the previous post.

Golovkins team never had the opportunity to modify or illegally tamper with the Gloves because (as per standard contract in major fights) they were delivered to the fight venue factory sealed (ie directly from Grants)

Furthermore they were never left alone with GGGs team without members of the NYSAC observing (again by standard procedure) until it was time for gloving up at which point they would have been signed off by said observers.

This is a rigidly enforced procedure in major fights and designed specifically to ensure that fighters and their teams cannot try (or cannot be reasonably accused of) tampering with their gloves.
