Can only tell You what a good friend told me who has worked at Big Bear...He said Golovkin when he comes for Training Prep walks in around 164 to 166 say's he seems to do it easy....Look Canelo is not to small for Golovkin but I agree Kell Brook was to small for Golovkin.....as was Smith to small for Canelo.!!!

Hahaha...but Jacobs will look like a hero turning down the chance to become champ for the 1st time in his career plus be The Man in his division ?!?

GGG brings 3 belts plus the hype of the boogey man status.

This isnt really nothing huh James? Only GGG has a cause of demanding 40%.
Why??? Because he brings something to the table, Danny Jacobs doesnt bring absolutely anything, matter of fact, the vast majority will pick GGG as winner, so he doesnt even bring an important element in selling a fight : intrigue.
Whereas Canelo vs GGG is an intriguing fight for many.

Take out the hate glasses and stop compairing Canelo-GGG superfight with GGG-Jacobs mandatory cuz its just plain stupid James.

If there was more quality at MW, I don't think GGG would have a problem. It's been a relatively poor division for years now.

The sooner Golovkin realises this and decides he can move up or down in weight, the sooner he might be able to negotiate some good fights.

Lemieux is promoted by Golden Boy but his manager is Eye of the Tiger Management (maybe co-promoter too). The Lemieux fight had to be done on PPV to get the money right for Lemieux because HBO couldn't afford to pay more for the fight.

Top fighters don't ever avoid each other as money and the limelight are too much to turn down so I don't know what's going on.

No Canelo never been 175 in the ring before, you got that right James as he looks bigger than that, look I'm not knocking him for it as There's been others who've done it and if continues to make 154 then that's his division but come on James forget Golovkin, you've seen Canelo looking gaunt and dry on the scales at 154 and you've seen him on fight night which I may add he adds fuel to the fire for not stepping on the scales, his waist looks fat and built like a tank.

I agree about GGG last weigh in though he looked awful which may be a sign of his age catching up.
Personally I could see Jacobs doing the same as Canelo, not as prestigious a belt maybe but we could hear the same false deadlines stuff.
I can imagine Abel Sanchez asking for top money though I could be way off?

ive long said I think loeffler is out of his element trying to move and manage a guy like golovkin

people that run boxing are watching....he ducks ward...drags up a ww...wont budge for canelo.....people are watching and theyre gonna freeze him out

he has a hard enough time getting fights as it is...according to his fans...but then they should "well cant do 40 percent cause then every guy is going to come and try to get the same deal"....then they'll turn around and tell you they don't care about who gets what money and all that stuff....

Well the only big money fight that GGG could have before he could lace'em up. Its just that the boxer in question pretends not to be a middleweight just to win more time. There aint no other potential big money fight except this one. Do you know of fighters with big fan bases that could be milked, other than Canelo ?
Who, Badou Jack ??? Degale ? GTFOH
You know how many asses they put in the seats( not tickets sold) both of them on the same card on the 30th of april ?
    4,000
    Thats it

It´s more than obvious why Canelo is playing time, but it´s not only Canelo. Look how often (or should I say rarely) Charlo Bros, Trout or Lara are fighting? It might have something to do with tv money but it´s also because they are killing themselves to fight at 154 and avoid 160. Young guys, especially Charlo Bros and Trout should be fighting at least two or three times a year, but instead Charlos, Trout, Lara and Andrade have fought only once in 2016. That is not what normal prime or near prime fighters do with their career.

I think K2 should offer 30% anything more than that is kinda high for someone who doesn't sell. Even the WBA agrees with k2. And if k2 gives jacobs 45% imagine how much Saunders will want?

So by not giving 40%, that's a quack? I don't think he should concede 15% for no reason. He brings everything to the table. He's the main draw. He holds three belts. He will even fight in Jacobs hometown.

That 40% request sounds more like a quack since the sanctioning body themselves disagreed with that. GGG should offer 30 or 33% just to get it made.
