The morning after the fight these desperate haters will be telling us Canelo was never a real middleweight, he needed more tune ups, GGG needs to fight Lara, and all their other excuses.

With Canelo's hand/combo speed, he will give Golovkin problems but it's all fun and games until you get hit by a truck (repeatedly) so I expect Canelo to shine the first couple of rounds, gass like he normally does and get wrecked inside 9.
Best thing is, Golovkin doesn't have to invent a bicycle, same old tactics - back your opponent up by letting him taste your power early, stalk, jab & wait for mistakes or untill rounds 4-5, go to work. Worst case scenario, he can always go back to parrying/counter-punching himself.

 

Pretty much what I think.

I think Canelo will look impressive early, and Golovkin will just plug away with the jab and body attack until Canelo slows down and starts running out of gas at say round 6ish. Then Canelo will do his usual thing and try to fight off the ropes, which is absolutely the worst place to fight Golovkin, and GGG will take him to pieces like a mechanic stripping an engine. KO in the 9th is my prediction.

 

I don't like either GGG or Canelo so I hope they both lose simultaneously in some sort of freak ruling.

 

Maybe something WWE-ish? Mid fight, suddenly loud music starts to play, with some special effects out comes Eubank Jr. jumps in to the ring, drops Golovkin, does a "piledriver" on Canelo and grabs them belts.

 

With Rock Newman as his manager?

 

I'll have to tango with both men to be sure.

 

I could see Canelo hitting him with some nasty combos but if GGG finds his range, and cut off the ring, it's up for grabs. I just get this weird vibe that he might get TKO'D

Said it before, if Canelo fights with GGG he'll get ko'ed early, if he tries to move and run Golovkin will walk him down and stop him
