Like him or not, every genuine boxing fan have to admit that GGG undoubtely attracts a lot of new, young boxing fans. I understand some circles disliking him, because of his origin/pigment, but it is not his fault. He is not a superhuman, has some obvious flaws, but he has a power, chin and cojones....
And, I think Ward would defeat him at 168... Would be questionable against Canelo...And, I predict he will beat his next opponent (Jacobs/BJS/CEJ/Lara...whoever) easily.

I'm starting to question his strategy a little bit, I think that fight could've gone completely different last night and could've been a surgical beatdown if he would have just taken his time and used his jab. In other words more pretty to watch, this big drama thing is going to get him put on his ass if he tries to force things so much.

He's got better defense than that so use it

According to racist Willie Maeket people like GGG because "he looks like McGreggor and Roussey"

Not because he s fun to watch, likes a good scrap and KO s mofos for years in a row

No, apparently that doesnt count for nothing

HBO fked up... They promoted the wrong people and are now left with 1 canelo alvarez, who is barely a good draw..

If they had promoted the **** out of GGG he would be doing millions of PPV buys by now, but no... they left it too late and now GGG has only a couple more years left.

Its not that easy to promote fighters from Eastern Europe in America, and make americans root for them, especially in this new political world

    So I can understant that
Canelo is cool, just he listens to Oscar too much

You're right, it's not. But instead of promoting the **** out of Crawford and giving him lenthy episodes on HBO, they should have done it for GGG.

Canelo would do much better without oscar

GGG boxing skill is not as good as people make out, Brook exposed that last night. However his punching power is unrivaled and his chin is class A granite. Those two reasons alone are why he beats everyone at 154-160 easily!

I'm not sold on GGG at 168 yet. I think Degale, Badou Jack, Ramirez & even Callum Smith give GGG big problems. He needs to move up IMO if he wants to go down as a true great, there is no competition at 160, not even Canelo would trouble him.

I agree not even Canelo could trouble him

168 ers would give GGG a better fight

I love to watch Degale vs GGG. James appears to have a solid chin and skillz

The rest of the 168 ers would get trucked
