    From the OP:

The live telecast of Golovkin-Wade averaged 1.325 million viewers and peaked at 1.388 million

These are non free preview ratings:

"Although the fight aired during a free HBO preview weekend, those viewers who watched because of the free preview do not count in Nielsen’s tally."

This!! I been waiting for someone to call out Ortiz and Lidell.
Lidell is supposed to be a master striker by UFC standards, but put him in a boxing ring and watch him get get Ko'ed in less than three minutes.
    Ortiz was always trash.
I remember people talking about Roy Jones vs Jon Jones in a boxing match...Even a shot small Jones KO's that non boxing chump.

Give GGG one year to train sambo and he beat everybody in the WW 170 in the UFC. That's true talent.

Someone say something about "triple b side"?

    :lol::lol::rofl

OP and a bunch of other trolls jumping to disparage Golovkin any chance they get before knowing the facts. :patsch

Good on the OP for at least admitting to being wrong, more of an adult move any of these other fools could imagine. Also good on GGG for pulling in those numbers against a complete no hoper.

The ratings does not include non suscribers. Same with Game of Thrones, otherwise the ratings would be much higher.

First of all, having a debate who has the better viewing is stupid if you are a real boxing fan. Secondly, spreading disinformation about someones rating is just pathetic. I just don´t see the point. Why would any decent individual waste his valuable time for hating someones view rating is beyond my comprehension.

Golovkin is an exciting and dominant champion who respect boxing and fans. Fans tend to pay to see him fight. Let him be - he is very popular.

Americans or rabid groupies of American fighters boasting about American fighters who've lived in the US their entire lives doing equal or better TV views than foreigners (especially ones who come from countries most Americans have never heard of) who have only been in the US or shown on US TV for a handful of years is comical. It's almost like gloating about your wife loving your more than some dude on the street.

    1. Golovkin is from Kazakhstan, a country most Americans couldn't locate on a map if you gave them 100 attempts even though it's the ninth largest country in the world.

    2. He only arrived in the US what is it like a little over 3.5 years ago now?

    3. He speaks English about as well as a four year old American child.

    4. But he's selling out venues on the East coast and the West coast, breaking records in the process.

    5. He's got endorsement deals with Apple, Nike (and what's the other one?).

    6. His fights are broadcast in over 120 countries world wide, not just in the US or occasionally in a couple of other countries. 120 countries and at worst still over 100.

Now let's compare that with Andre Ward.

    1. Ward is American and has lived in America his whole life.

    2. He is America's only Olympic gold medalist is something like 20 years IIRC.

    3. He speaks fluent English and is a Christian (granted a faux one).

    4. All his fights have been broadcast on US television since he turned pro. Even his pro debut was shown on HBO.

    5. He had an 8 year head start on Golovkin on US TV. 8 years not 8 months!

    6. None of his fights have ever been PPV, Golovkin pipped him to that too, in Ward's home country, and against a Canadian.

And yet Ward can't even sell out his own hometown and the venues are never full at his fights despite his promotional team giving away god knows how many complimentary tickets.

Some dude who lives about 5-10 miles away from Oakland (he's a regular caller on a boxing radio show) called into a radio show I was listening to and said Ward couldn't even get 100 people to turn up for an autograph signing session when he visited his town.

I wasn't even trying to rile anyone up it's just whatever way you swing it Golovkin is doing great just to be competing with home grown American talent in their country all things considered and the truth is he's actually doing better than Ward. So yes he is the A-Side.
