GGG Back on May 9th, who gonna actually fight him??

    There gonna be showing the replay of either Cotto-Canelo or May-pac (Maybe both or none, i dont know) but some replay will be on to lead into GGG fight.

    He pounds out Murray, we all agree with that

    So who's actually will be avaible to fight on May 9th?

    Winner of taylor-Mora? i'll watch GGG smash either of them but i highly doubt those guys will fight him. Mora never will, Taylor might do it for 1 more payday before getting locked up :lol:

    Kid Chocolate? if he didnt have heart to fight Korbov he wont fight GGG, he better do something with himself!! Got talent but come on bros

    Ndam? Could happen but mandatory for Taylor-Mora winner, thats the route he'll go for sure.

    David lemuix? great possbilty and in top 2. He looks like a man that will take that fight and he doesnt doubt his power himself, hope this fight gets made. hopefully lemiux fights somebody in the next 8 weeks so they can hype fight even more as a true slugfest that doesnt go 3 rounds.

    Andy lee? This is the top 2 option IMO. Lee looking for title defense in early March. if he gets that done (which wont be anybody super good) then 2 months or 7 weeks or so to get back in the gym and get ready for GGG. I also love that fight.

    SO i think its down to Lemieux and Lee. At this point how could you hate on those 2 fights??? GGG has been running thru the division. Martinez ducked him for Cotto and Cotto whooped him so thats what Martinez gets. NO doubt in my mind that Cotto-Canelo happens so there will be no Cotto-GGG or Canelo-GGG on May 9th so dont bring that up.

    and for GGG Haters who else is there?? what you gonna say? "hes fighting Lee that got pounded by Chavez jr" is that what you gonna say?? Lee is top 5 MW Now and WBO Champ. we need Unfication so when winner of Cotto-Canelo fights GGG in the summer/fall we have an undisputed champ (yeah IBF will be somewhere else but preety much Undisputed) SO dont hate on the man. :bbb:bbb

    Lemieux might be the only top rated guy with the stones to face him at the moment. It's utterly embarrassing how difficult he's finding it to get the other champions in the ring with him.

    everyone is avoiding him.............ggg is one of few fighters who fight this regularly and he is benefiting from it in the viewer ratings

    Not a Haymon guy is the easy answer.

    I think Lee will fight BJS then Mack... as in, Lee will be unavailable until Fall/Winter 15-16.

    I think we'll see Mora win the Taylor fight, Haymon making Quillin-Mora and Quillin fighting a bum or two after he wins the belt.

    I'm not as confident on the Cotto-Canelo fight happening, purely because the two egos are roughly on the same level - different than a larger than life ego like Floyd's, but equally hard to deal with in negotiations. I'll assume it does happen though.

    Jacobs might be forced to fight Chudinov, who knows... just have a feeling Haymon is milking a Jacobs-Quillin "unification" of IBF & minor WBA titles, so bums for Jacobs until that happens.

    That leaves my boy David... which, at this point, am not sure what he wants to do. I believe he's foolishly serious about the fact he's not scared of Golovkin, but also think GYM would not allow such stacked odds against their world title prospect. Gut feeling he's gonna try and get an IBF title shot against Quillin late 2015 (pending Haymon's veto), no idea about earlier in the year... maybe a Rubio rematch, but that would be going the WBC/WBA route to Golovkin which Yvon Michel won't risk until Lemieux has generated enough dollars.




    Wildcard prediction, completely disregarding Golovkin's desire to unify 160: he fights Vera at 168 in May to set up a Chavez Jr PPV in September.

    The Ward fight happens in 2016, for all the glory as Froch will have retired by then.

    wished quillin still had his belt so ggg can go after that bum and knock him out but he gave it away to avoid the unification fight with ggg

    Lemieux would be entertaining for 3 rounds but what does he gain? I'd like to see a unification.

    There isn't much for Ggg at 160.

    I'd like to see Lee fight GGG, just because he has the powerful hook that always gives him a puncher's chance. However, I wouldn't begrudge him taking a fight or two in Ireland to make some business before fighting Golovkin. Lee might not fight GGG because he's with Lou DiBella, who is officially a puppet for Al Haymon currently.

    Lemieux is probably the most realistic opponent. I think Jacobs, who holds the inferior WBA belt, should be forced to fight GGG or get stripped by that sanctioning body.

    There's nobody available at 160 except Lemieux and Quillin.
    K2 should just empty their cash register and make a Froch fight in the UK.
