This is not me saying that GGG beats Hagler (The greatest middle ever).

But styles make fights and Gennady would punish , out jab and stop ray based on current form.

Personally I thought Ray got into Haglers head anyway and beat him before the fight even started, this wouldn't happen with GGG.

Wow you really know your boxing man, Terry Norris out jabbing Leonard in '91. Tell me about Vinny Paz beating Roberto Duran

    Loving your constructive criticism.

Ray was a very well preserved 35 year old when he fought Terry. Not the Duran at super middle with 90 odd fights.

Why not? That weren't the best leonard and certainly weren't the best hagler.

Well firstly G would have a clear game plan , if im not mistake Hagler came out fighting orthodox? Realized this was working and was then already behind.

Secondly Ray fought really hard for the last 30 seconds of each round to steal as many rounds as he could , I see G matching this work rate to ensure this didn't happen.

Hagler missed this. Ray has some of the best head movement in the history of boxing. At no point did Hagler go downstairs and wear out those legs.

Lastly and most importantly Haglers closing off of the ring that night didn't happen until he was already behind. Then it wasn't closing with the jab but actually running into punches , OK they were pitter patter punches , but still scoring.

I see GGG being the Hagler in the second half of the Leonard fight and wearing Ray down.

Remember this is a fight at Middle , Ray was is and always will be great but I don't think he wins this one.
