    BS

Still has not fought at 154 or 168 even when Lara/Ward called him out

    It was a marketing tool

Ward ducked Golovkin for years, eventually decided to become a moderator on HBO instead of fighting him.

you're just being a bad loser
bute was nothing but a paper champ who disappeared like a fart in the wind the one and only time he stepped up

ward is the legit successor to calzaghe
nobody else in the division who won belts can lay claim as the SMW king like these to can/could

I love Ward but he's starting to get on my nerves. Ward loves to get on camera and claim no one wants a piece of him while himself not sending a single offer out to the guys he claims want none. You can't claim people are ducking you if you're not trying to make fights with them. It doesn't work that way. If you really want to fight these guys, Ward, send them offers. Otherwise, be quiet.

Wards ****ing annoying and a bore to watch, be thankful he's tied up in his management dispute so we don't have to watch him hug sakio bika for 12 rounds.

i'm saying there were belt holders, but that's not necessarily a badge of honor in a sport which boasts 80+ excess 'champions'

the super six had no problem attracting fighters who were willing to unload their belts because they knew this tournament would give the victor the SMW crown

so ward became a legit world champ by beating kessler and froch who weren't? weird logic. best go through the divisions and weed out the rest of the undeserving champs then.

calzaghe was the best SMW in the world
the super six was touted as the tourney to find his successor
    ward won

Kessler and froch have never been the best fighter in the division, though Kessler was touted as the favourite pre-tourney

if Kessler and froch were genuine world champions, why would they throw all their marbles into a tournament like that?

to try to unify. like it or not, in the interim, they were legit. unless you figure ward was #1 the moment calzaghe moved up despite having no belt nor much of a resumé? there was a gap, and in that gap somebody's #1, even if he ain't as good as the last guy or the next.
