We have seen Ouma, Monroe Jr and Brook outbox GGG. There is a blue-print to win rounds against Golovkin. However, to beat him the opponent MUST be able to stay off the ropes. You cannot let GGG back you up to the ropes because that's when he unloads the damage. GGG throws his left hook to the body hard when he has you backing up and against the ropes.

In order to beat GGG, the fighter MUST have a good chin, power AND real good boxing skills.
So far we havent seen GGG in with someone with all these attributes.
Jacobs has the power, the speed, the skills, but lacks the chin.
Saunders has good power and speed and a solid chin. But stamina will be his ruin.
Eubank Jr needs to beat somebody before he gets a shot at the titles.

Not that easy when the opponent is so good at cutting off the ring. Floyd at 154 could do it as he can move and can also clinch with razor sharp counters as well.

Your exactly spot on a great chin, respectable power, a counter puncher with good inside fighting skills and jab. To me sounds like other than Andre ward, Canelo if he didn't fear GGG so much has a lot of the attributes need to cause GGG problems and at 160 he wouldn't have to worry about gassing as much.

The opponent must have decent enough boxing ability to stay out of harms way, i.e. the ropes, and also enough power to keep Golovkin honest. Something he hasn't had to deal with so far, but something that Danny Jacobs possesses. Golovkin would go down as having one of the best chins in history of he is able to take those types of shots from Jacobs and walk through them like he was doing Brooks punches.

Triple G has an unbelievable will to win .

    you can see it .

He is someone that will not accept defeat and it does not faze him if his opponent is still standing in front of him .

That does not mentally break him or slows him down .

We've seen it against Stevens , Murray, Rosado .

He continues to be relentless and will keep breaking you down . The man does not fatigue .

Now Brook outboxed Triple G for only 2 rnds before he had nothing left , was out of ideas and quickly worned down .

Now I fail to see how that's a blueprint to Triple Gs downfall .

But his haters are going to grab at anything to make him look bad .

Anyway its going to take a complete fighter to hand Gennady his first loss .

Someone that can show him different looks. , Box and bang so when he doesn't respect your hands , you can load up and snap his head back reminding him " You have no choice but to respect me !"

Good footwork wouldent hurt . Most importantly durability with a solid chin that can absorb a beatdown if necessary.

The fighter has to be able to weather the storm not just early but for 36 mins. Gennady cuts off the ring very well and stays on you . Ask Stevens .

Someone that can dish it and take it .

Basically im describing Marvin Hagler. That's the man that would prevail against Triple G .

Just kidding guys , on any given night any fighter could lose .

That goes Triple for Triple G .

sure he can get outboxed, but the guys who are good enough boxers, dont have the chin and the power to go the full 12. right now, i would give andre ward the only chance to do it at 168, but he wont be able to do it next year. i think ward has declined a fair bit already and kovalev is going to greatly accelerate that decline.

GGG is not the monster everybody thinks he is. Brook shined the light on him and any fighter or trainer worth their salt should have picked up on it. I am not saying that GGG is not an excellent fighter because he is. However, he can be hurt and he has been hurt. The key for a boxer puncher type fighter is to have faith in his power and keep putting it on GGG, especially when he walks in with his face wide open like he is not being hurt. That's the time to really put it on him and I bet he will start backing up. Brook had to that point but he didn't follow up. If you back Golovkin up, the fight is yours.

None of those guys outboxed GGG. End of thread. There isn't anyone at 154-160 who's capable of outboxing him currently and that's all that natters.

Golovkin doesn't walk in wide open against huge punchers. See him against Lemiuex.

He only swarms recklessly against guys with no power like Brook. He had no power he can't him. Golovkin destroys all man.

Quite frankly, GGG is always wide open. He just exaggerates it with some fighters. He underestimated Brooks punching power because Brook did hurt him. He just didn't stay on him with the same ferocity and let GGG walk him down and get off first. That costs him but he did shine the light for any sharp power puncher to see. GGG swarmed him because that was his only option. As for GGG destroying all men, well, that's just wishful thinking.

Golovkin destroys all men at 160 pounds which is what matters.

And no Brook did not hurt him. I mean the guy hit GGG with a perfect flush uppercut and Golovkin ate it with ease.

Meanwhile Brook was absolutely gritting his teeth wheb taking Golvokins power. I mean it started in round 1 when Golovkin landed the left to the body. Brooks face looked like somebody was giving him extreme pain.
