Location, location, location. What's your point?

Sometimes you are as high as the property taxes in New Jersey.

A lot of guys have entertaining styles. But, they are not marketable and do not have star quality.

Sadly, the real money to be made in boxing is not from the support of the hard core fans that appreciate a good boxing match, and who actually follow the sport outside its big stars like Floyd and Pac. It's from the casual fans who don't really understand boxing, but, have an affinity to or repulsion of the personalities involved. You will never see 3-4 million "educated" fans spending $100 for a PPV fight. That can only happen when the casual fans come out in droves.

I fail to see Mayweather's marketability. He is basically an illiterate with 5 felony assault convictions. His actions are deplorable, ranging from his "slave wages" comment years ago up to the human rooster fights he forces his gym fighters to engage in.

He also has a fight style that is wildly not fan friendly coupled with his delusional personality and all his intrinsic advantages. Not the least of which is the non existent doping protocols he is permitted yet his opponents get regularly tested.

I guess it boils down to what many have already claimed. When THEY want you to be a star, you will be a star.

At this stage of Floyd's career, and GGG being the much bigger man and the power he possesses, yeah GGG probably wins.

GGG but I think a lot depends on the weight and the ref. If Floyd would come to 160, definitely GGG. 154, not as sure. And if the ref lets Floyd run, another big factor.

GGG would win. As he should, since he is by far the bigger man. Floyd should have no business fighting Golovkin. (Though I'd like to see it) :yep
