a bit rich of ward, given he's the 1 been using ggg and froch's names to keep his own relevant, in lieu of actually fighting.

Ward was humble after GGGs team said they wanted to clean up 160 first. Ward said he understood what GGG was trying to do and was happy with waiting .

There's a big difference between that and Ward is scared to fight GGG that some of the GGG fans push.

It's like when they say GGG isn't ducking Ward, Wards not PPV so it's not worth fighting him.

But when Frochs team goes to HBO and they say Froch-GGG isn't PPV so Froch moves on it's ducking right?

If GGG can't pull PPV don't complain about Ward pulling PPV and being hypocritical in both instances that's all.

I don't think GGG is ducking guys that aren't in his division just like I don't think Ward/Froch are ducking GGG. Just want the false narratives squashed that's all.

ward's humility was nowhere to be seen when he "called out" ggg, despite not being in a position to fight. he did the same every time froch climbed into the ring, yet when push came to shove a few weeks ago, we all saw what happened. the rest of your post is frankly irrelevant to the point i made.

The thing is there is still a bunch of potential fights at MW for Golovkin. Lee, quillin, lemieux, ndam, jacobs, cotto, heiland, eubank jr, tureano johnson, saunders etc. A lot of good fights.

Plus GGG doesnt even have the lineal WBC title yet. Ggg is entitled to clean out his own division first before he moves up imo.

Remember Hagler never moved up and didnt have a very strong MW era, yet he still has a strong legacy.

The ultimate scenario: Golovkin fights Mayweather (who should beat Pacquiao) at 154...then Canelo for both 154 and 160 titles at 160 lbs. and then move up to challenge ward at 168 lbs.
It will make him a boxing superstar .

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of what is seen and what is judged differently. You say Ward doesn't show humility and Im not saying he doesn't he was humble in that scene article where he talked about talking to GGGs camp. It's like all the talk that comes out of GGGs camp that's eaten up and taken as the fact but when it comes from another camp it isn't. GGGs camp is really not all that humble either and while GGG himself might not be trash talking there's plenty trash talk coming from his camp. I don't care what you consider relevant.

Froch has stated that if he fought GGG it would have to be PPV in the states. Froch has mentioned he could easily fight a UK fighter and do better than a Froch-GGG fight in the UK. Froch and GGG have been pro roughly the same amount of time it's not Frochs fault GGG isn't a PPV draw. And that's no different than GGG saying he won't fight Ward because it's not PPV.

I am just pointing out the hypocrisy of some fans. You should know Barcham I don't think GGG is ducking anyone at SMW or that a SMW is ducking GGG.

Andre Ward is not and never will be a PPV fighter. Why do people keep suggesting that? A better question is why doesn't Ward go up to 175 and fight Kovalev? It is the same logic as people asking why GGG doesn't go up to 168. Why the double standard?

I'm not asking GGG to go anywhere I'm disputing the circumstances around certain fights. I don't think that GGG is ducking anyone at 168 just like I believe no one at 168 is ducking GGG. The GGG-Froch fight could of materialized but when Frochs people went to HBO they said it wasn't a PPV fight likewise GGGs people have stated a fight with Ward isn't PPV so they haven't pursued it. It doesn't mean anyone is ducking anyone.

As for the Froch-GGG fight in the UK Froch wants a fight in America on PPV and GGG is almost big enough to deliver it. Froch has already stated he could make more money fighting a UK based fighter like Degale on PPV in the UK but he wants an American PPV fight.Frochs team has suggested fighting GGG if/when he becomes bigger here in America.

No one at least I'm not suggesting Ward is or will ever be a PPV fighter. It's possible especially with the right promotional team but it hasn't happened yet. But likewise GGG who has all the making of a future PPV fighter isn't a PPV fighter either ATM. So it's a little hypocritical to bash one fighter for not being a PPV fighter when in regards to another fighter who is not PPV. ( I'm sure GGG will be in the future)
