Golovkin should refuse the lowball offers and clear ducking by Canelo. Fact is, 160 lbs with a half half split is the most fair option.

If you disagree you probably are a racist, Canelo fanboy, or GGG hater.

GGG needs Canelo for relevancy . If HBO has pulled out every trick in promotional history to make him a PPV star or at least a mega star then he would not be getting less money than Adrien Broner.

Money generation is what makes you the A side not a bunch of white internet dorks who idolize you behind a computer screen. I go to these fights and not eve 10% of these so called hardcore Caucasoid are ever there. But as soon as I turn on my computer though thousands of you show up.

When these PPV numbers come out that will be the determining factor on if this fight will happen or not.

I think that would be fair but come on GGG can barely get 97K in PPV. His fan base are too cheap to pay for his PPV. I doubt he gets any more than a fixed 2-3M.

It doesn't matter who draws more currently, GGG makes more money for Canelo than any fight he will ever fight by at least 2 times more besides Mayweather.

It's a 50 50 fight, people are tuning in to watch Golovkin as much as Canelo, and people are truly tuning in to see Golovkin get another KO.

Why do you hang on to that magic number. There is no more truth to that than the 150, yet you deliberately bring it up over an over. In stats we take the average, so a reasonable etimate is 125k, which is not bad at all for a non American vs a Canadian . By the way that number does not include Canadian ppv, which I and many people I know have bought.

GGG can barely crack 95k ppvs and he wants 50/50? What a joke

Sounds like GGG fans are hoping he prices himself out

It's about awe cee belts though right?

I'm a GGG fan, but I think a 60/40 split to Canelo is fair. Canelo IS the bigger star (mainly because there are enough Mexicans to pardon his mockery of the sport and keep him popular).

He should be grateful to get any offer considering his biggest wins are Murray and Rubio. Golovkin is no one to make any demands in this one. He's the one in dire need of a payday, not Alvarez.

Golovkin doesn't deserve 50/50,but he does deserve to be allowed to fight at 160.

Team GGG dont care about the money as much because they know they will knock out canelo and cross over its just the weight which is the issue
