    Absolutely!

Canelo would still be at 155, and everybody would be going on about how the 160 division was full of nothing but bums and how GGG was the king of a bum division. Happens almost every single time there's a champ around with crushing dominance.

Canelo doesn't want any of Saunders. He'd Lara him but better than Lara did.

Seems like Golovkins's prime years were wasted. Everyone one he fought was considered a bum even if they were top 10. Geale was a number 1 contender in 2012 and 2014 was now a bum? All you had was an aging Cotto and Martinez. Was there somebody he should have fought in 2012 to 2014?

I think the fact that the only person people can coherently kind of make a case for him avoiding is an ATG at the weight above is quite telling.

Of course, Ward did eventually come out and say that he wasn't interested in fighting GGG at 168 after all.

If you disqualify ped users then you are disqualifying Pednelo, who just went from 154 to 168 thanks to PEDs. So you are saying GGG is in a class by himself at Middleweight. Agreed.

BJS is capable of beating everyone in the division
Pity he has no leverage these days as brings sweet FA to the table now

They're like 2 pendulums swinging in opposite directions. The starting position of GGG was ahead of Canelo but now he swinging back whilst Canelo is swinging forwards

At the moment they're at about the same place. but with each passing day GGG moves a little more backwards and Canelo a little more forwards.

ah right. So fight results dont apply?

perhaps you are right, unified 2 weight champion Canelo is behind zero title 3G.

no, he shouldnt have fought anyone else in 2012 or 2014, since he only became a titlist in 2015.

You cannot expect a non titlist/bum title owner to have to face top fighters.

Re-read my post. The fights totally apply.

Golovkin wins the first (clearly); Canelo (morally speaking) gets a draw in the second - that means precisely that the pendulum is swinging in Canelo's favour.
