Maybe Smith has been hiding his true powers, but I also thought Canelo was levels above him, and not just because he was the bigger guy. I watched that fight with the purpose of talking ish about Canelo, and didn't come away with a whole lot.
If you listened to the interview ggg stated fmj is allowed to call the shots so ggg would go to 154 for the best (and the HUGE pay) while canelo is in the same division as ggg and is NOTHING (NOT done nothing) and he WOULD go to 168 even 175 for a REAL PPV super fight. Ggg clearly stated exactly what real fans (not trolling haters) have known ALL ALONG. Ggg WILL fight any HUGE PPV fight through 154 to NOW even 175.. how dumb are most of you guys ? Seriously, you can't understand anything, you even try twisting clear interviews from 24 hours ago. Ggg will fight ANY super fight from fmj @154 all the way to 175, we're still waiting for a fighter @168 or 175 to become a true PPV fighter. If ward fights again it's reasonable the winner will be ggg's super fight @175 when he's a ****ing tiny MW. Wait till you see how small he is compared to Jacobs, won't matter at all tho
Ward is a diva for sure but looking at the inconsistency of GGG and his team on the matter I do believe Ward on this issue. 1. GGG through Sanchez says he will fight anyone from 154-168. 2. Ward accepts at 168 but GGG team go back and say it has to be at 164 for Ward however for Chavez and Froch they can go to 168. 3. Ward says he agreed to all the 50/50 deal and the catchweight and Sanchez comes out and says they never offered the catchweight it was just talked about. 4. Ward goes and takes on Kovalev instead, why would he go up and fight a heavier more dangerous challenge in Kovalev yet people think he's scared of GGG doesn't make sense? Not to mention there's a video where GGG in the past admitted Ward is too much for me. I know fighters evolve and GGG is better now than he was then but when you look at the fact he's now saying his a little guy at 160 and ain't going up but a couple months ago Loefller said GGG was willing to face Froch at 170. It's clear GGG recognises Ward is his biggest threat so he would not allow the playing field to be equal for him as he would for others who are less talented.
OK So here you have just perfectly exposed Golovkin's comments as being completely illogically and deeply disrespectful towards Canelo. So Triple G said Canelo IS nothing (NOT done nothing) as if that makes it sound any better lol. Then to justify Triple G's comments you're saying that Triple G will fight ANY HUGE PPV fight between 154 to NOW even 175 LMAO? (why because Ward is now a 175er) The lengths you are going to defend this guy's comments is unreal. So what you're saying is that Canelo, The Literal Cash Cow of Boxing, the Biggest Name in Boxing, is NOT a HUGE PPV Fight?? Just admit it, what he said and the double standards involved are completely absurd. Yes Floyd Mayweather has done more than Canelo in his career, but at this point Canelo is a bigger fight than ANY other Fighter in Boxing. Andre Ward May be as big as Canelo, but he's all the way up at 175. You're saying Golovkin will fight anywhere between 154-175, EXCEPT Canelo which somehow isn't a huge fight despite him being the biggest name in boxing and the cash cow? It's madness trying to defend Golovkin here. He can barely speak english, at least Canelo doesn't try speaking English and sounding like a moron lol. At least he speaks in his native language and doesn't try to make a mockery of the english language. Triple G just says "this is boxing" as an answer to everything, and will fight anywhere between 154-168 for a Big Fight. But that doesn't include Canelo since he isn't a HUGE fight desite the fact that Canelo's made more money in his last handful of fights than Golovkin has made in his entire career lol. Gennady "I'll Fight Floyd at 154 but not Canelo" Golovkin the guy who'll fight anyone between 154-168 (now 175 since Ward's there even though he wouldn't fight him when he was at 168) except for Canelo the biggest fight out there lol.
Wait first of let's get it right he said Canelo has done nothing. Secondly I clearly said it might be a language barrier issue before I addressed the point. Third of all GGG is not a ppv star they're only 4 ppv stars atm it's Canelo, Pac, Cotto and AJ. Those are the only guys who do big numbers consistently at this point, maybe kilt with the right dance partner. His a tiny middleweight but a couple months ago Loefler said he would willing to fight Froch at 170?? That's a joke.
It's not a bad thing but check the interview when asked about Ward at 168 by Steven A. he says something like I'm small I will fight at 154-160 that is perfect for me. That's cool with me but that's not true because if Froch was to come out of retirement right now, Loefler said they would fight him at 170. So 170 for Froch but 164 for Ward because your small guy to Ward at 168 hmmm...
Bring some more ****, Wtf does him being willing to fight Froch @170 have to do with the fact ggg is a small mw ? It's a fact ggg is a small mw. Ggg will make a huge PPV fight with any big time PPV fighter from 154 to 175, including canelo. His team is only being intelligent about it, unlike to absolute ******s we have on here. Both ggg AND canelo have fights all set up, GBP keeps adding $$$ to their "final" flat rate offers. Why sign on to anything when you still have fights lined up AND still have a major belt @160 still being out there. The belt bjs has been keeping warm for ggg is more important than a fight with canelo, atm. Once GGG has that belt he can focus on setting up a canelo fight or if there's something better out there then we'll see. How many major fighters set up their next fight during training for their toughest test to date??? I don't know of any
Your too far gone if you can't see the inconsistency, that he would say hes a small fighter when asked about Ward at 168 but still be willing to make a 170 fight with Froch. You need to read between the lines of his answer, he's utilising a similar tactic to Cotto when asked about the GGG fight, Cotto's answer was 'look at my weight do I look like a real middleweight?'. Everyone could see his real answer was that fight at that weight is too dangerous for me and that is the same for GGG he says the danger with Ward but not much with a Froch or a Chavez. TBH i dont care about the fee's or % with this Canelo fight anymore these guys are both taking the fans for a ride like Mayweather/Pac so if they fight good if not then who cares. Well its clearly not as important thats the bull**** these guys spill, if Floyd said yes that would be his next fight, if Froch said yes that would be his next fight, if Canelo gave him his percentage that would be his next fight and if the talk from both camps are true then Canelo/GGG is looking likely for september so thats nonsense about unifying is his most important goal. His most important goal is securing the most lucrative fights just like Canelo.
dont forget when sanchez boasted his guy could beat anyone at 175! thats real consistent with ducking ward at 168 tho!
So you’re saying you don’t want GG to fight Canelo in September? You want to fight BJS first, the belt that he’s keeping warm for Golovkin? You know that Canelo has been Saunders mandatory for a few months now? If Canelo GG doesn’t happen in September, then barring a Chavez rematch, Canelo would have the inside track to fight Saunders being the 154-lb WBO Champ. From what you’re saying, it sounds like you don’t really have making the Canelo fight that high of a priority. Even though Canelo is Saunders mandatory, DLH is still trying to make the Golovkin fight happen in September. Why fight Saunders before Canelo? The public want to see this fight happen in September? Why delay it further by capturing the WBO Title first? As a Canelo fan, even as Saunders mandatory, I’d rather see that put on hold if Canelo vs Golovkin happens in September. I just don’t see the same desire to make the Canelo fight from the Golovkin camp, but maybe that will change after the Jacobs fight. Is Saunders really ready for either Canelo or Golovkin? Personally I’d rather see Canelo vs Golovkin happen first, then have the Saunders fight in 2018. But either way Not many I know, but you just said that you are already thinking about him fighting Saunders next so he can get that belt, then maybe fight Canelo after that? I don’t think DLH expects the fight to be made until May, but by making an offer, he gives Golovkin something to think about so after these next fights he can come to the table to make the fight or to make a counter offer.
you are wasting time bro....ggg is the only guy to perfectly navigate his career while maintaining ATG status and utmost respect from all boxing fans...the perfect balance between fighting for legacy and belts....not a single misstep....just flawless....ask his fans
