GGG/Canelo III rumored for Sept 14

Just last week Eddie Hearn was asked what fight he’d like to see at MW. He said the fight that needs to happen is Canelo GGG 3. Then he said Andrade fight is also important.

Now, why would a promoter like Hearn place a fighter like GGG in front of his own? (Andrade)

My guess is the big bosses at DAZN want the trilogy in September.

 

It makes sense. Leave it longer and GGG will show further signs of aging or have to fight a live contender and lose or lose credibility by swerving them. Whatever value is left in Canelo/GGG 3 it's unlikely to appreciate with time.

Yeah, I’ll have Canelo via non-bs decision if it happens.

 

If not they'll wait until he is 40 and have a 4rth fight so that Clenelo can beat him for real finally.

I thought GGG deserved the decision in both fights.This time I feel Canelo beats him fairly as GGG is on the downside.

 

Gotta feeling that triple G had one last great performance left in him and this could be the one.

 

I'd say the only way GGG has a chance of being competitive is if the fight is scheduled for Sept and he gets some sort of renewed sense of self with his new trainer. When Kovalev came back under his new trainer he looked like Kovalev 2.0. I can only hope this will happen with GGG. Otherwise, even though I hate to say it, I feel Canelo will have his number in the third match.

 

The truth is that GGG gave Canelo a beating in that fight, as did Canelo to GGG

 

He does and its going to be against Rolls
