Triple G really went off on Canelo and De LaHoya today. Calling them cheaters and liars.

I feel he is telling the truth.

Not a good look for Alvarez. Ultimately this will all be swept under the rug to allow the money train to stay on the rails. But this situation will be forever linked to him for the rest of his career. Canelo is a great boxer and has accomplished quite a bit for being a younger world multi division champion...it’s just a shame this dirty test came up after years of professional prize fighting.

I can't seem to find the part where he called Canelo and De La Hoya cheaters and liars. Please show where he said that.

"Again with Mexican meat? Come on," Golovkin said to media members on Tuesday.

"I told you, it's not Mexican meat. This is Canelo. This is his team. This is his promotion. ... Canelo is cheating. They're using these drugs, and everybody is just trying to pretend it's not happening."

Golovkin did not end things there - he believes Canelo has been using performance enhancing drugs for some time. He also took aim at Canelo's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions.

"It was pretty obvious when (Canelo's) muscles were all (enlarged) ... and with the traces of injections, which were visible," Golovkin said. "I can talk about Oscar De La Hoya, too. He is also not clean. He's dirty.

Yeah I'm finding a lot of quotes saying Golovkin said this or Golovkin said that, like the Lance Pugmire twitter post about how Golovkin said "Get him on a lie detector". I mean do we have any of these quotes on video?

The one video I've found today of Golovkin talking about it is this video from ESPN :

    This content is protected

The headline is pretty misleading : The headline reads : "He's cheating, but I still want to fight him".

However in the video clip G didn't say that he believes that Canelo was cheating. His response to the questions are pretty vague and a little bizarre, as G seems to not care at all whether Canelo is cheating or not. Certainly he never states that he thinks Canelo is cheating. G says "he use drugs, he don’t use drugs : doesn’t matter for me".

He makes it clear in this ESPN clip that if the NSAC clears Canelo, if Canelo is brought to the ring he will fight him. So, while these responses are obviously very open to interpretation, he isn't stating that he believes Canelo is cheating. He seems to be putting his faith in the commision and the powers that be to ensure that Canelo is clean.

In this clip he's also asked about whether he saw marks on Canelo's body before the first fight. He was asked if he "saw the marks on his body or did somebody show you the pictures?"

G said "I saw couple photos just". G added "3, 4 doctors sent me photos". Uhh so G is saying that in the build up to the first fight 3 or 4 doctors sent him some photos of Canelo's body that appeared to show injection marks on Canelo's body? The logical follow up to this is : who are these 3 or 4 "doctors" that apparently sent G photos of Canelo with injection marks on his body? I mean for all we know it was one of his fanboys who photoshopped a bunch of injection marks on Canelo's body. I don't know WTF to make of G's story about 3 or 4 doctors sending him photos of Canelo showing injection marks. That's a really bizarre story.

G then said he was sent other pictures or videos of Canelo taking pills? "he uses pills and everything" Um first of all how is he getting all these exclusive pictures of Canelo taking pills. And if we believe this story from Triple G about how he's getting all these exclusive compromising pictures of Canelo, how do we know those "pills" aren't vitamins? Are we going to actually see any of these photos showing Canelo supposedly popping pills and with injection marks all over his body or are we just supposed to take Triple G's word for it?

G felt the need to emphasize "I know my stuff very clean" OK G and what stuff would that be? lol I don't know what to make of this ESPN interview, but I see a bunch of quotes being attributed to him but have yet to see a video where he calls Canelo a cheater or any of the stuff he's being quoted as.

G did say in that ESPN video "you know this business not very clean" how would he know how "not clean" the business is? Reading between the lines here, what is G really trying to say?

For him to state "I know my stuff very clean" (uhh what stuff might that be G, you stated on one hand that you don't take anything but then you say your "stuff" is clean?) but then to say "you know this business not very clean" (what is that supposed to mean, how do you know the business is not very clean, and if it isn't so clean why do you say you don't care if Canelo is using drugs or not wtf) then to say "[Canelo] uses pills and everything and" "3 4 doctors sent me photos" (of Canelo with injection marks and popping pills) I mean wow Triple G that's A LOT of stuff to drop in a 2 minute interview, and to top it all off ESPN makes it seem like he's saying he thinks Canelo is cheating, when he didn't actually say that.

I mean that interview makes it seem like the media is trying to provoke him into calling Canelo a cheater, but then again he seems to verify the whole getting sent photos of Canelo popping pills and having injection marks. But do these photos exist. One way to verify this story is if the public gets to see the photos Gennady is referring to! Lets see the photos of Canelo with injections marks and him popping pills.

Do we have video of these quotes? First of all those quotes don't even sound like the way Gennady speaks in his broken english. G wouldn't speak with the grammar "everybody is just trying to pretend it's not happening". If he said that, I doubt it would be in those words, even if he did accuse Canelo of cheating, he just wouldn't use that vocabulary, unless it was said in his native language, and translated or something, in which case we need to hear the audio. The way those quotes read makes me really question that he said those quotes in english. I see a lot of quotes thrown around, but have yet to see a video of him actually accusing Canelo of using drugs or cheating. From the ESPN interview, he seemed very unsure as to whether or not Canelo was cheating, and didn't seem to care one way or the other.

Lets hear the audio or a video of him saying these things, otherwise they are just quotes that we have no way to verify if he actually said this or if he believes it. We seen him clarify the "traces of injections" charge with a story that he was sent photos of Canelo from "3 or 4 doctors". However I have yet to see any of these photos. So we're gonna need to actually see such photos to verify this story. Lets see if he can produce these photos showing Canelo with injection marks.

Perhaps he should have some dignity and not fight him then.

"he use drugs, he don’t use drugs : doesn’t matter for me" - Gennady Golovkin

So while Gennady's legions of fans have been carrying on about how unfair it is that Canelo hasn't been suspended, Golovkin himself today made it crystal clear that couldn't care less about whether Canelo is on drugs ! That doesn't matter to Golovkin.
