    Golovkin-Alvarez is the biggest, most lucrative fight in boxing. Not the BEST FIGHT, but the biggest. Look at Kovalev-Ward, which is the best fight in boxing, but no one gives a damn outside of boxing fans. Kovalev-Ward will tank. There's BARELY ANY promotion behind it.

    I'm guessing it does 200K... 300K MAX.

    Golovkin-Alvarez will do 1 million MINIMUM. Maybe 1.5.

    Golovkin is right to scoff at Golden Ploy's joke ass offer of 10 million. Just like Pacquiao told Floyd to sod off w/ the pathetic 40 million offer.

    why dont you guys go back...and find me some numbers on what canelo made(with ppv money) against cotto and khan.....when u do...i think youll realize the 10 mil is more than fair

    but that would be me assuming you would be reasonable.....yer a bumdog excuse maker so thats off the table

    Canelo-GGG does not do 1 million. Maybe next september if both keep knocking their opponents out.

    Golovkin does not deserve more than 10 million, the only reason you can tell me is that the fight is very big? Really? ...
    Canelo doesn't need GGG, GGG needs Canelo.

    You've impaled yourself on Pesky's Pole too deep this time that it nicked your brain.

    NO ONE called for Canelo-Cotto. It was an interesting match up, but no one was dying to see that fight. Aside from PR Vs. MEX, there was no back story.

    GGG is on mean KO streak. GGG and Canelo sparred once. Canelo's been ducking Golovkin.

    Golovkin-Alvarez is FAR, FAR, FAR BIGGER than Canelo-Cotto.

    Pollo is the Prima donna that talked trash but then capitulated & handed back the title he stole.
    No "FIGHTER" especially a MEXICAN Fighter wimps out of a fight. Only cowards do that

    There's a difference though. Pac was offered a 40 million flat fee with no upside from the PPV. GGG is being offered the biggest purse of his career thus far with an upside of PPV= many more millions in his pocket aside from the 10 mill guarantee and it's still not enough. But I also think the GGGoons are the worst fanbase in boxing today.

    How much do you think Canelo is going to make for this fight? Let's not forget the % HBO charges for the broadcasting of the fight, Golden Boys share plus investors throwing in their own money to make even more money, not to forget a site fee.. so what do you think Canelo will grab from this fight?

    I don't know, but if Golden Ploy are willing to pay 10 million, you can bet Canelo's going to get a LOT more. More than double.

    Best solution is a 55/45 split for Canelo. Golovkin has straight up dominated, holds 3 belts, and is the Middleweight King. Canelo arguably drew with Trout and he definitely lost to Lara.
