I haven't contradicted anything you fool.

I never said he was a huge star.

    READ CAREFULLY:

My point was that he's gaining interest all of the time.

He initially came over to fight Eubank because it was a great opportunity to expand his fan base.

It doesn't matter if he got a flat fee. He's just earnt more than what Canelo's guarantee for Smith was.

Anthony Joshua has been hyped to death by Matchroom. He pulls in the casuals who think he's the next big thing at HW. Yet, GG-Brook surpassed some of his PPV's. The fans came out in force and tuned in to see what all the fuss was about.

    You do the math:

2 guys who hadn't got great resumes or big follwings =

500,000 PPV buys, with many more watching unofficially/illegally, through different means.

GG is now big news in the U.K.

The HBO figures were also impressive.

This guy is on the rise.

He had a slow start and flopped against Lemieux, but he's now gathering momentum all the time.

Instead of you saying something like:

"Fair enough, but he still has a lot of work to do in the U.S."

    All you can say, is:

"But you can't count those figures..."

The reason why you've said that, is because you come on a boxing forum, yet you have absolutely no intention whatsoever of having an actual debate.

You're just a worthless clown who's only ambition in life is to hate on Gennady Golovkin.

    Put me on ignore.

Which nobody has Canelo made $20m off?

Yes, Canelo does need GG to get a huge payday. Because again, only Manny and Floyd could match the revenue that a GG fight would.

    Facts, what facts?

    Ha!

Which nobody has Canelo made $20m from?

What the hell are you talking about?

Stick to the main topic... 10 million + PPV is a hell of a deal.

I know its hard for you, as a die hard GGG fanatic to accept that your hero is either being unreasonable or taken for a ride by K2, but its as clear as day the offer is great.

Lol wut? You seem extremely upset, are you mad because I questioned why the Bum King deserves more than 10 million? Is that me debating like a child? :meparto:

First of all, I don't think the fight does more than 1 million PPV buys. GGG is not a PPV star and if the fight was signed, it'll be during a Mexican holiday where the majority of viewers are... MEXICAN.
Canelo has a core PPV fan base of 300k. It doesn't matter who he fights, he can fight a no named bum like Dominic Wade next, his loyal fans will buy and it'll do 300k on HBO PPV regardless.

Meanwhile, GGG in a heavily promoted fight between 2 hard hitting MW's did only 97-150k. I've honestly seen more promos/hype for the GGG/Lemmy fight than I did for Canelo/Smith, Pac/Floyd and Khan/Canelo COMBINED. I still remember those promos to this day since it received heavy air play, the fight had about as much hype as a stacked UFC card. We just have to face the facts that the Bum King simply isn't a PPV star. You can go on about how GGG sold some PPV's in Britain against a domestic level British star, the facts still remain. GGG only sold 97-150k in one of the most heavily promoted fights of the decade.

Now tell me why isn't 10 million a generous offer, please do so without throwing a fit.

Canelo vs Golovkin definitely has the potential to do a million buys. The Mexican's want to see that fight badly as does the rest of the boxing world. He's arguably more popular in Mexico than Canelo is. Golovkin brings Canelo's buyrate up to a mil. Nobody else is doing that therefor he should receive a percentage

Lol no he isn't. Canelo is a household name in Mexico, like a Brad Pitt or Tom Brady. The Mexicans only know of GGG due to the demand of the Canelo fight.

The Mexican fanbase shatted on Canelo for dumping the WBC belt. Golovkin was celebrated down there when he went to collect it.

Only Chicano's aka Mexican American's really cared about that, 2 completely different cultures, and even then, most were hardcores/casual boxing fans. That still doesn't change the fact that Canelo is a house hold name in Mexico, he's bigger than Lebron James there.

Brook sold the GG Brook fight. They both made 5 mil. That's how you know that GG can't sell a fight. GG got a good deal out of the Brook fight i admit against a WW who was not even the best WW, the lineal WW or popular ppv selling WW. The UK crowd came out, not GG's fans. GG's fans want to tell you that Jacobs should take the 75-25 deal, but then ask for 60-40 against Canelo and GG doesn't sell ppv's when you compare his sales to Canelo's sales.
