Its still a robbery, except not as bad as a loss. Which is why he said "downright."

 

Trout didn't say it was a robbery, you said he did.

 

He said "they didnt downright rob." Its another way of saying they didnt fully rob Golovkin, but it is still a partial robbery!

 

Lets just be clear : Trout did not say in any way shape or form that G was robbed. You said he did.

 

Still a partial robbery, which in my book is still a robbery. The only people that had this fight close were those biased towards Canelo, and even they thought Golovkin won.

 

Well it's no surprise that you are screaming robbery. If G didn't get handed a victory, we knew his fans would scream robbery. So you're doing the predictibale thing in screaming robbery since he didn't win. We knew that this fight was gonna be controversial if it went the distance.

Just so you know, I predicted the fight would go the distance, I thought both guys hit hard but also had incredible chins. Most people predicted knockdowns or a knockout. I knew G fans would scream robbery if he didn't win. I knew this because I've seen the reaction to Canelo beating or doing well vs Top fighters, each time in the past that this happened (Floyd, Lara, Trout) there was phony outrage. So it's no surprise that we're seeing a similar thing here.

 

Are you kidding? Toney is so skilled and multi dimensional there's little doubt we could see Toney running to the buffet while weighing in on how GGG beat Alvarez, mid stride....although maybe not running....more like a brisk walk
