He did do very well, I wouldn't argue against that. I thought it was a clear loss but ultimately a close one.

If he - as you would have it - didn't start until the 6th then he doesn't know he wouldn't gas out does he? He just knows he can fight 6 rounds without gassing. As for experience, I mean do you honestly think fighting Spike and Blackwell has improved him as a fighter? Saunders has since fought and beat Lee whilst clocking up another 12 rounds so the experience is still unbalanced.

I see a rematch going the same way. I don't buy that he didn't start trying until after 6 rounds because that literally makes no sense. BJS is a technically excellent fighter and I would see another points decision going his way.

Because they're in different leagues. CEJ should have to get a real good win on his resume first.

Could be any number of reasons. Some people have a naturally better engine, some train harder. Saunders has a history of coming into fights looking a bit podgy, Eubank always in shape.

what eubank got from fighting the likes of spike and blackwell is he wont gas that was the main reason why he lost to saunders he gave the fight to him

nothing to do with him needing to improve he could of beat him that night itself if he knew would not gas

the rematch with saunders will happen in the future and he would stop him he gave saunders the fight.

the moment the bell rings for the rematch eubank will be on him knowing full well he wont gas that would be the difference

the fight was close and i had it a draw personally the first one

I agree but more for Eubank Jr's own sake, I think he's been fighting soft, domestic level opposition for too long and may quickly find he's well out of his depth.

Yeah I picked Martin and got it wrong, but I also picked Smith Jr. and told everyone that Molina, Sosa and even Corrales had a really really good chance at winning. Not to mention Browne KOing Chagaev. One of my long shots didn't pay off, but unlike you everyone on here sees my every pick, but you only put your picks up on the easiest to ick matches possible. How did that Provo over Matthysse pick work out for you Boxing Master?

I never even made a big deal about your picks until now......

I have never got a pick wrong by the way and it will stay that way.

Neither of those fights even went 10 rounds, so I'm not sure how. Plus they were against domestic level fighters so he shouldn't have had to work that hard really.

What he needs to improve on to beat Saunders is: his fundamental boxing (so not leaving himself so open when he throws), better ring IQ (cutting the ring off, not just following someone) and things like actually working behind his jab properly. He's a good volume puncher but just makes basic mistakes. His balance is awful as well
