    1) Golovkin fights at middleweight, Ward fights at supermiddle weight.
    2) Golovkin has come in weighing on average 158 pounds for his middleweight fights, Ward has a SIGNIFICANT size advantage. Heck Canelo Alvarez re-hydrates to a higher weight than Golovkin.
    3) Golovkin wants to unify his division
    4) Golovkin still has to destroy the top 5 in his division before moving up
    5) Once Golovkin moves up, it is difficult on him to move back down, once you pack on the muscle, it is going to take allot out of him trying to get rid of it just to move down.
    6) Going up just to fight Ward is stupid, knowing full well that he has fights at 160 to make.

I wouldn't call Golovkin scared but it's stupid how he only wants to unify the division when Ward is brought up. He wasn't trying to unify when negotiated for Froch and Chavez JR.

Ward is held to a different standard than Froch and Chavez JR, that's all we need to know.

    exactly alex....end of discussion

"bu bu but chavez and froch brought money".....oh ok....

this unifying nonsense is a crutch...as ive said many times...what if cotto were to drop the belt right now ....and ggg were to fight heiland for it? what does that prove? nothing....it gets us nowhere....so these clowns need to stop acting like that unification means anything

I believe GGG when he or his people claim that he's willing to fight anybody, but I don't assume that he has equal desire to fight everybody, and thus I don't expect him to have one set of terms that will universally apply to all possible opponents.

Maybe you should buy a good life insurance and then travel to tell Golovkin that he is a coward face to face.

Ward doesn't draw sh!t. If Golovkin agrees to give him a good pay day, he has all rights to demand a catch-weight. Besides, Golovkin is allegedly cutting weight now. Why would he fight at 168 then ?

Ward is pathetic. He is in much worse situation than Golovkin. Nobody wants to fight him, as he doesn't offer good money and will clinch you to death.

He needs to beg Golovkin to fight him at 164.
