GGG choosing to stay in Bumland (160 division)

It's getting harder to defend the man. Hopefully the Eubank Jr fight gets made. But after that there is no one left. No one.
Jacobs= scared
Quillin = moving to 168
Canelo= who cares?
Lee= 3 times beaten. His chin gets cracked again
Saunders= terrified

Maybe a fight with Avntandil Khurtsidze. That would be a good s****. But that's it. Golovkin would then be ordered to defend against Jorge Heiland lol and then Tureano Johnson. I would even bother wasting my Saturday night watching those fights. Just DVR and see later.

At least 168 has Degale, Groves, Jack, Andre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell. Zurdo is a bit too big I think. All these fights would be sellouts and would generate big ratings.

Staying in Bumland is a waste of time. He's too good against the other 160 pound fighters and would be a waste. Just imagine he fights EUBANK, Heiland and Johnson. Terrible

 

Hagler had Mugabe, an undefeated KO beast. He had the legendary Leonard and Hearns fights.

GGG has no equivalents. Don't forget Hagler retired by 35 and GGG is 34. The junior middles won't be moving up to 160 for a few more years. By the time Andrade, Charlo and J Williams will be ready for GGG he will be 36. Too late

 

That's fine. But look at who he has to defend his titles against. If Jacobs, Canelo and Saunders were open to fight then it would be different. GGG vs Tureano or Heiland are just terrible.

 

If Floyd Mayweather would have stayed at 140 just smashing his opposition he would NEVER be where he is today. Same with Pacman. Same with Mosley. Same with RJJ.

 

They are his mandatories.

 

At least Jack has a title, has beat Bute(bs draw) and Groves and Anthony Dirrell.
