ah...another Hopkins comparison let us know when lil g tangles with ward at 168....ward, kovalev, beterbiev and Stevenson at 175 that's about a close comparison to what Hopkins did after mw
Anthony Dirrell isn't special he's the lees er Dirrell twin who just happened to grab a title. And which of any of Golovkin's championship reign opponent's have been blitzed in a round off a journeyman?
fvck yourself troll... If you cannot be serious, then no point in taking you serious. You live in generalizations. Besides, any points go right over your empty head.
It's nothing of the sort Hopkins fought a good champion in Tarver but I'd pick all 3 of the fighters mentioned over him.
im not trolling....points going over your head...and im not surprised stop comparing lil g to Hopkins Hopkins is a legend because of his post 160 campaign taking on great fighters at 168 and 175 lil g will never do that...ever that's fact....plain and simple...keep trying to link lil g to Hopkins...hell never be close
If you follow my posts I'm no GGG hater. Been to 3 of his fights. But with the lack of opposition it's best he moves up
one of Anthony Dirrell's best wins is Rubio who didn't last long against GGG and went the full rounds with him. :hi: Groves and Bute are super past it, and Jack was already KtFO by a guy that didn't even go rounds with Korobov.
Ya i don't really understand this Murray and groves was close to 50-50 yet people claim 168 has good fighters. Groves was beating froch on the cards, SD with jack and beat degale yet he s****s past Murray while GGG beats the life out of him for fun
Hopkins at 175:- Tarver:- Excellent win over a good opponent when alot of people thought he'd lose. W UD Winky Wright:- Career 154lb fighter, fighting at 160. Fight made at 170. W UD Joe Calzaghe:- First fight at 175, beat Hopkins in a sloppy fight. L SD Kelly Pavlik:- Current and career 160lber...fight made at 170. W UD Enrique Ornelas:- C level opponent, career 160lber fight made at 175. W UD Jones Jr :- Past his prime, again sloppy fight to watch. W UD Jean Pascal x2 :- draw and a win for Hopkins good win over a top 3 175lbs fighter. Chad Dawson:- NC and a loss to Dawson. Tavoris Cloud:- dominated Cloud who was a strong young champion. Karl Murat:- Dominating win over a limited opponent. Shumenov:- Again dominating victory over a limited and self trained fighter Kovalev:- Dropped, hurt and never won a round. Hopkins went 9-3-1-1 at 175. Only 8 out of the 14 fighters where natural 175lbs fighters with whom his record stood at 6-2-1-1. He fought 4 fighters who were not natural at the weight, 3 being dragged up by a minimum of 10lbs. Hopkins is a modern great no doubt but the truth has to be said. Throw into the mix Dawson was stopped in 1 by Stevenson. Cloud was stopped in 2 by Beterbiev and 9 by Stevenson. Pascal was stopped twice by Kovalev I think it's fair to say this crop at 175 is alot more talented than when Tarver and Johnson where ruling.
I'm not saying 168 has great fighters, but at this point has BETTER options for GGG. Canelo and Saunders ruined the party at 160, waiting GGG out so he can age and slow down.
