lol @ people trying to make out Golovkin is some huge weight bully like Bud Crawford. Bud is a huge weight cutter who boiled his big ass frame down to campaign in lower weight divisions against naturally smaller or lighter men. The only reason he moved up to 140 is because he was absolutely killing himself to make 135. Contrary to what some imbeciles believe that is not called ''daring to be great'' at all. What it's actually called is weight bullies moving up because they can no longer make weight in their old division anymore.

So as you can see Crawford has been the heavier man on fight night for all bar one of his fights where his ring weights have been announced (and often by a significant amount) and in that one instance where he wasn't his opponent weighed the same as him *this post was written before Bud's last fight and I don't know what his ring weight was for that one*

Like I said Crawford was absolutely killing himself to make 135. So much so that it was pretty much the main theme for his HBO 2 Days special

The number of times Crawford has actually fought at lightweight in his career = six. That's six in total for his first 24 fights.

Number of times Golovkin has fought at middleweight = 34. That's 34 times out of 36 fights

And Crawford turned pro when he was like 20 years old or something, whereas Golovkin was like 24. When Crawford was 18 years old he was fighting at 132, whereas Golovkin was fighting at 140, so Golovkin is actually fighting in his 4th weight division since he began competing as a senior. Crawford has only moved up a whopping 8lbs since he was 18 compared to Golovkin's 19lbs

And Crawford rehydrates 15-18lbs on fight night. He rehydrated 17lbs for Postol even though he'd only officially moved up to 140 the year before. Crawford actually weighed more for his lowest recorded fight night weight at lightweight than career light-welter Postol did for his fights against Aydin and Postol. Crawford was 149 and Postol was 148 for those two fights.
