Agree, I have listened to him speak Russian, he is smart and cool guy, but when he speaks English he can’t say exactly what he wants to say, he defo needs translator.
I mean good translator not that twat they gave to Lomachenko who was worst translator I ever seen

Pretty much. Stevens himself said after the fight that he felt like he never really caught Golovkin with his best shot, because Golovkin was doing a good job of rolling with punches.

On another note, usually when GGG is on his way to the ring, he's happy and smiling. But during his ringwalk against Stevens, dude looked pissed. I think he generally disliked Stevens and wanted to hurt him.

Typical reaction of someone who originally picked Stevens to win. Time to call on the next fighter to expose the "hypejob". Kinda like Derrick's record for predicting Wlad fights.

Except Floyd is fighting in his 4th weight class. When GGG does that then you can compare

What more do you want? Jesus Fokking Christ this guy is an offensive machine he can kill everyone with his offense why play defense? Besides he will be 32 if he has to make a name for himself he should fight the way he's fighting now and not change. Fock defense. It's fokking boring. :-(

for a guy who fights as aggressively as he does...i think he has very good defense. he picks shots off with his shoulders well....he also rolls with shots very subtly. not easy for a casual observer to see.

If he can make 160lbs and still operate at a health level it's possible he wins a UD. Let's try to keep this within the realms of reality though. ;)

That would be a Russian translator. Little Max Kellerman says in English that GGG has no fans because there isn't many "Khazakistans" in boxing

GGG didn't lose a round yet he has no defense? I guess he didn't need it. He's taken harder shots of vodka then what Steven's had to offer :patsch

GGG is slow and if his set up is disrupted he can't adapt , whoever he fights next has to be in great condition and have the stones to step in and let the power shots go past back him up and then see his reaction ( bet not to impressive ) can't believe this guy is champion ( guess to old school over here.

I must have seen a different fight. The one I saw looked like GGG methodically breaking Stevens down with hard body shots and jabs with Stevens landing occasional counter punches, the only competitive round being the first round. If GGG's defense was that bad it would have been a back and forth, close fight. I guess I need to check the Tivo and make sure we're talking about the same fight.
