GGG blew it from round 2. Money is the root of all evil. Sadly I think he was only there for the payday. He was not in it for any belts. Where was the damn body shots from Golovkin??
The broken hand and rib obviously hindered GGG greatly but we have to be honest with ourselves and each other guys and sometimes you just have to admit that the much younger prime juicer did enough to beat the shot beyond belief badly injured geriatric cadaver and I think we should just give Clenelo full credit for his ducking and ageing out skills he deserves.
I suspected that Canelo couldn't match his performance in their previous fight and i was right. Canelo got really tired in the in the last third if the fight and he couldn't hurt GGG At all throughout the fight, it didn't seem, but i think GGG could hurt Canelo. He just didn't let his hands go tell the end. I suspect GGG might have hit a little bit harder than he did when lighter, but he couldn't or wouldn't pull the trigger on his hard shots. It was the biggest big drama show he could possibly get, with everything to gain, and he squandered it. So, at this point i can't predict who GGG can beat or not beat because that wasn't the GGG that i know. He was big drama show vs Murata, but not when he needed to be the most.
Your right, i was expecting an improved version of the GGG that fought Murata, not what we saw. That being said, i think the scores were correct.
Honestly I don’t think we saw an improved version of GGG against Murata it’s just that Murata is a Kamikaze type of warrior who does not have a defence.
Actually i meant i expected GGG to fight Canelo a little bit more like the way he fought Murata, just better.
It certainly is, at his age coming back down in weight will hasten the rot even more, he's finished, no point in becoming another heavybag.
Please, no more from this second-rate rivalry. Guys pulling each others' hair out over two fighters who aren't even great has gotten beyond old.
