UH.... Jacobs is a smaller target so GGG couldn't hit him. A Heavyweight is a literal sitting duck and would never make it 12 with God of War.

Didn't Bumlovkin allegedly drop Kovalev in sparring? How is it that a guy who's already been KO'ed @ 160 can go 12 with the Triple Duck?

Im a big fan of GGG but the hype over the years as been nothing short of funny, sometimes tongue in cheek yet some have latched on to some of the crazy statements that have come out like it isnt even up for debate.

All i ever wanted from GGG is to unify this division and move up to Super Middle (even though i accept its not the greatest division)

The only part that matters is how fast their feet are. Jacobs is a cruiserweight with flyweight feet.

Only in size. Jacobs did the Ali Shuffle every time he turned off the ropes. You probably missed it because his feet are so quick. Try watching it in slow motion.

Just watched that fight again, Golovkin landed more punches than Jacobs, he knocked Jacobs down, later on Golovkin staggered Jacobs with a power jab, Golovkin did a great job of out boxing the much bigger fighter, who cheated on the weight, was a cruiserweight, did not have to take a drug test, but Golovkin did, with all that, Golovkin still beat him, I had the fight 8 rounds to 4, one round was 10 - 8...................so, what knocked Jacobs down? The wind? Jacobs could not hurt Golovkin even one time. When Jacobs did land a big punch of very few, Golovkin did not even blink his eyes..........................Golovkin would put Cotto in the hospital, Pac knocked Cotto out! Alvarez could not, Margarito knocked Cotto out also..................

Where is the problem? I don't see GGG beating AJ at his current weight but I would see him beating Szpilka. What does this have to do with Jacobs? He's a skilled, tough fighter with one of the biggest hearts in boxing. Disgusting to see the hate he receives on this board and no appreciation he gets for giving GGG a hard fight.

That assumes he will choose to fight Canelo at the same pace he fought Jacobs. Seems that GGG was fighting a bit cautious due to Jacob's punching power and size. I think he will choose that same pace until he's sure that Canelo poses no KO threat and if so then will shift gears. if not then I see Canelo outpointing him.
