I agree his resume isn't super strong. Lemeiuex, Stevens, Rosado, Murray, Geale (when GGG fought him) are all decent enough fighters tho, nothing special I agree, all would beat Eubank though.

Hopefully the Canelo fight happens if he gets past Jacobs cos that is a 50/50 fight.

 

Most of the "bums" CEJ fought can't hold a candle to the "bums" that GGG fought, any one of GGG's opponents in the last 5 years would've been a step up fom CEJ's opposition(except for 1 or 2 at tops), GGG is fighting a guy who Junior flat out ducked, the same CEJ that punked out of the GGG fight, that punked out of the Saunders rematch. Yet you moron have the nerves to continiously bash at GGG and support CEJ.

Eubank has no defense, no power... How the hell does he beat GGG? Spike was nailing Eubank with power shots. GGG brutally KO's him. Only the big Golovkin detractors are backing him, i.e the forum idiots.

 

Geale, Murray and Lemieux are better than anyone Eubank has fought.

When GGG fought him?? That fight was only two years ago. Lemeiuex just looked bang average going the distance against a guy who lost to Tommy Langford.
Lemiuex is Forest Gump level basic. Zero ring IQ. No skills outside a left hook. He gets took apart by Eubank.
Him and Geale are GGGs best wins. Eubank loses to nobody GGG has beat and its not cos Jr is a great MW or anything , its because the level of comp is shockingly poor.

 

Regie Q is better than Geale. I know that because he stopped him in two rounds.

It's obvious to see how GGG brutalises Eubank Jr, even if Gennady still doesn't have much on his CV.

Obviously inferior fighters in O'Sullivan and Quinlan landed plenty of clean power shots on Jr. It's clear as day GGG will land more than these guys, and it's also clear what happens when GGG lands clean.

It's all academic anyway. Nobody is letting Jr in the same timezone as GGG, let alone the same boxing ring. We're just as well talking about how Jr would get on against Marvin Hagler.

He was FAVORED to Quinlin FFS... Eubank is not a big puncher, he's a volume puncher who beats his opponents up and stops them down the stretch usually after a sustained beating. You're not going to make GGG pay with his kind of style, because at the end of the day Eubank is going to be the one who's worse for wear when they got to toe.

 

Eubank would be GGGs most dangerous opponent to date by a long way. His workrate is insane, fast hands, iron chin plus GGG is wide open for that uppercut on the way in. If Eubank can take a few of GGGs bombs and I suspect he can, i think he outworks him to a decision maybe a late stoppage.

 

Reverse logic states Eubank can win based on how easily GGG was tagged by his sub standard opposition. He was near lifted out of his boots by a welter weight.
If 154 pound Ouma was a MW KO artist GGG would have been slept on the canvas. Medhi Buhdda couldn't miss when he threw uppercuts.

Eubank is never going to beat Golovkin on skill. If and when it does happen , Jr's relentless athleticism , youthful vigour and non stop assault is going to cause the 36 year old GGG serious problems. The guy is flat footed and comes forward with zero defence. Its a style suited to Eubank.
It may look like a Calzaghe Kessler situation where the technically better pure boxer was over come by work rate and activity. Thats not me saying he wins. Its me saying he has potential to give GGG nightmares. GGG is not God

 

GGG has a great jab, which Eubank struggles against, and Eubank is hittable. Eubank doesn't have the power to hurt GGG.

Eubank throws wild swings, which will leave him wide open to get hit by GGG.
