I don't think GGG is god. I think there are plenty of fighters out there who could give him problems. Brook had enough success against him to prove that.

I just think that the fighter who has the beating of GGG needs certain levels of slickness and power, neither of which are qualities I think Jr has enough of.

I don't think he'll have the power to even slow down GGG, nor the slickness to stop himself from getting hit clean.

If they ever do meet, I don't see how Jr makes it to round 5 without being badly damaged. He will have eaten too many clean shots not to be. If he doesn't have much of a chin he'll be out by round 6. If he has inherited his old man's chin he better hope his corner have bought a towel.

Just for context of conversation, Geale retired after losing to Quinlan at a weight he'd never fought at before (168) after a year and half layoff after being KO'd at a catch weight fight at 157. That would be his 3rd KO loss in his last 4 fights. But don't let that get in the way of Dino's rhetoric.

Incidentally, Sr also said that Jr would have ring rust. Do we normally accept that for fighters after 8 months? Coz ya know, that'll be taken into account if Golovkin doesn't end Jacobs in the first 10 seconds I'm sure.

There's no hyperbole to anything that was said. Geale lost badly to a guy at a weight he never fought at - Eubank then beat that guy at a weight he never fought at either.
Why are you trying to pretend the Quinlan - Geale fight doesn't count?
    Its is what it is.
Geale isn't a good win , end of story. Im pointing out the hypocrisy of fanboi's who try and claim Geale is a good win for GGG but he isn't for anybody else. Get it?

I never said it didn't happen, I pointed out the circumstances of which it did happen which you had omitted. The point being that Golovkin's win over Geale is better than Quinlan's. That doesn't make it a great win in itself but it is still a better and more relevant win.

I never said you said it didn't happen.

    circumstances/excuses - same thing.

Geale wasn't any better in the GGG fight than he was in the RQ fight. Geale is Geale.

He was coming off a loss to freaking Darren Barker before he fought Golovkin ffs.

The only circumstance that matters is the fact he was beaten at a higher weight by a bigger man. And not just beaten - knocked dead in minutes he was. No credit from fanboi's (you) is given to Eubank for moving up and winning that fight despite the guy beating one of Golovkins best opponents.

I thought Geale beat Barker and was on the end of a bad decision, so I don't hold that one against him.

He was knocked out, absolutely. But also shot to pieces and at the end of his career, so it gets less respect from me and most other people. I don't think that's a controversial or overly disagreeable notion to put forward. Fighters fade with age, KO losses and weight changes

He was gutted by a SMW. That doesn't mean he was shot to pieces.
All it says is that he got trounced by Quinlan, then Eubank went and trounced Quinlan, so that puts Eubank a level higher than the guys GGG has beaten. You get extra points for beating guys at higher weight classes. J'understand?

I'm basing how shot he was on how poor he looked in that fight compared to previous fights, how much the Cotto fight took out of him, age and inactivity. All of that considered, in my opinion he was shot. I can't work out if you ever actually disagree with people or just feel a need to argue for the sake of arguing.

He was more comfortable at that weight after the Cotto drainage , ill tell ya that for free.

And he is the same age as Triple G.
If RQ was another MW and he got stopped like that at MW then you could say he was shot. Going upwards and getting blasted don't mean you were shot. The morale of the story is that Eubanks is a level above GGGs opposition. Thats not saying he is above GGG , cos he isn't.

Saunders schools him again, but I agree Golovkin destroys Jr.
