BS.. They already had Brook as the backup plan which points to his reluctance to sign for Vargas. It would have been just as easy to contact Haymon with a deal to present to Lara for a potential fight as it was for Brooke. Instead GGG picks the WW who hasn't done **** at 160 to get a fight with GGG. GGG ducked Lara plain and simple.
Wasn't the likes of you and IsaL, the BN24's part time business experts telling us all about BUSINESS? We all didn't understand the BUSINESS :think So you get offered a very large payday, far more and I mean far more than you'd get for Lara and a far higher profile fight on a huge PPV event in the UK but somehow you should have taken Lara? Infact you've ducked him But if you're Canelo you can drop your belt, avoid your mandatory and it's a "smart business move" atsch You both sound ridiculous What happened to the BUSINESS?
Who cares about Lara?! Boring and makes for **** fights. He also brings NO MONEY to the table. Damn, the Cubans don't even watch him.
Wait my friend :good drenlou and IsaL will educate us about the business side of boxing, the side were fighting Liam Smith on Boxnation is far more lucrative "long term" than fighting Golovkin in a monster fight that was anticipated the world over. I would explain it but I just don't understand it, I'm a little simple :nut
I don't care about the business side of Boxing. I don't see any of that money but I do know he ducked the **** out of Lara! That irrefutable. His choosing of Brook proves it.
Exactly if Lara wants Golovkin why have they not heard from him,why not let his management get in touch with Loeffler and sort out a fight in December? Let's see if anything comes of it,have we any idea how much Lara is asking for to get knocked out?
Can you not tell when someone is just lying,I suppose Eubank sucked you in as well, actions speak louder than words,I knew from Eubanks press conference after Tom Doran win that this was just words and so it is with the three middleweights, why should Lara be believed, why would he be any different?
Well - you don't care if he is making a ton of money. I imagine golovkin does care about the money - it being prize fighting and all. Lara doesn't bring enough money. It's simple. No fighter should make concessions for the sake of it. They should do what I'd best for their career. Is fighting Lara better for golovkin's career than fighting Brook? I think Brook brings more money and exposure. Is Lara more dangerous? Perhaps. I think Lara-Brook would actually be a close fight. I simply don't see Lara as a superior talent to Brook and they are similar in size.
Odd that you follow boxing and constantly add your two cents about who should fight who if you don't care about the business aspect of boxing - SINCE THAT IS HOW THE FIGHTS GET MADE! It's apparent you live in the Rocky fictional world where fights get made because Clubber Lang threatens Adrian and Drago kills Creed. Maybe Lara should threaten Golovkin's mom? Yeah that's how these fights should get made. Screw the business ... Let's have em all challenge themselves for no money and end up brain dead and working the spit bucket in a south philly gym!
That's one part I care about, the other part meaning $$$ which people always seem to throw out there is something I don't care about which is the reason why GGG IS fighting a WW. This fight makes absolutely no ****ing sense and you know it. Everything else you said, is obviously the world you live in, otherwise you wouldn't have tried to make a point using fictional characters.:hey
Not following ... It Should always be about the money. You are somehow advocating that ggg should make future unneeded concessions because Brook conceded a weight advantage in this fight. I think that position is silly. You were the kid who said "but, but, that's not fair" a lot.
