I never said GGG was afraid of Brook or Lara. Why would he be? They're little men who GGG walks through and decapitates.

GGG is bigger. He's going to kill Brook. Savagely. This fight is dangerous.

Who gives a ****? Brook isn't going to grow any taller. He's not going to change his bones and thicken his frame.

    A welterweight is a welterweight.

Brook said he is a much better fighter at a higher weight...............this will be an very easy fight for him............................Golovkin by knockout!!! Lara would be a very easy knockout for Golovkin, HBO would not allow such a sick fight..............

I suggest you call Alvarez, Saunders, Cotto, Jacobs, Eubank, etc. and force them into the ring, Golovkin can't do it...............

He's going to destroy ****ing Brook too. At least Lara is closer to 160 than Brook is.

And another thing, had they reached out to Lara like they did to Brook, Lara would have taken that same ****en deal within 24 hours.

But we all know, Lara was never a backup plan like Brook was from the begining.

Golovkin certainly DID duck Lara, regardless of the fact that Lara is a farce.

That doesn't justify ducking Lara AND fighting a welterweight.

I have my doubts about Lara signing so easily/quickly, but undoubtedly this fight is GGG favouring business over his professional boxing legacy. That is not a good thing, but understandable as boxers are (unfortunately) out to make money and minimize risk. Just accept that GGG is not a Lomachenko.

It's not a good matchup, but hey, look at the bright side: it will generate good interest in the UK, the papers there are full of Brook even when he smashes a C-level fighter. It's good for boxing. Brook must be given props for taking about the toughest fight he could have. I do think think there's a chance Brook makes things interesting, I'm a big fan of his.

Brook gets a lot of credit from me, he does. What passes me off though are hypocrites who shat all over Canelo vs Khan and Canelo vs Smith, then when this fight gets made now it's about business and prizefighting. Those are his fans saying these things.

Now if we rewind several months back you have GGG saying this:[YT]Wnl0HbRtzOQ[/YT]

    GGG did a total 1080..:patsch

I didn't like Canelo-Khan, nor Canelo-Smith, because Canelo keeps pretending he wants to fight GGG as soon as possible when his actions say the opposite.

GGG is slightly more excusable as he is ducked by all the top 160s, but in terms of legacy I think he should have been after Lara or a top 154, or a decent 168 before accepting Brook.

It's all business > legacy, $$$ > greatness. I don't like it. Never have, never will.
