same reputation as a monster....50 year old Hopkins wanted in with him....pascal went in and took a beat and wants a rematch? so why cant ggg get fights?

if ggg wants to become a "money guy"....he needs to fight canelo ASAP...and if that means he must bow to a cw...he should do it...then he becomes a money man and never has to bow again......that's been my point

his fanboys insist hes already a big draw...they point to sellouts in LA and NY....and the fact that hes hbos big push now.......so yeah I think beating canelo now, ASAP, will help him now more than it would 2 years down the road......his fans insisted hed be the new ppv king and that hes a huge draw....so I dunno....im taking their word for once

It's about risk-reward, you know this. It's the same reason why Rigo struggled to get fights, he's not a KO monster machine, but fighting against him is almost a guaranteed loss with little for return so nobody wanted it.

 

He will always sell out arenas because enough boxing fans will want to see him and travel. He could seel out anywhere tbh. But the thing the makes you a big draw in the true sense is huge ppv numbers. If your not American or Mexican or to a lesser extent from anywhere in North America chances are you will never be a big ppv star in the states no matter how good you are. Casuals like to cheer for there guy not some guy from a country no one can pronounce of that no one could find on a map no matter how exciting and dominant he is
