    Agree
He could have one foot in the grave and still KO a 147 guy.
No excuses here bro but he does look like crap in the photos :frown:

Jet lag is no excuse as you adjust your training patterns to reflect the time difference. Also he fought in Europe a couple of times since based in America so can't see it being the issue

Um, Brook is black, and that's not fair?

Seriously though, how come there's no thread in the Fantasy betting subforum on Golovkin vs Brook? I want to put all my vcash on Golovkin. Speaking of which, where the hell is my vcash?

I remember them being asked why didn't they fly out 2 weeks before, and they said 1 week was plenty.
    Perhaps they underestimated the change.

Golovkin has flown out to monte carlo for fights, however there is good weather there. Maybe thats why he acclimatized so well in monte carlo and not now in the UK

Hopefully the jet-lag has worn off for tomorrow night.

Turns out "GGG fan" Johnny Nelson started the rumor, and Abel Sanchez just stated that it's total bull.

It could just be very simple if he is out of sorts, or it could be that it has dawned on him that Kell does pose a threat.

At the end of the day if he is sick, then it is simple, postpone the fight, he shouldnt be fighting if he is not 100%.

Either way the fight is still going ahead, but if he is sick i hope he doesnt use it as his excuse when Brook outboxes his behind.

Upsets happen, it s boxing and it is only a fight anything can happen.

Who gave Kirkland Laing a chance against Duran, and look what he did, Honeygan Curry, colin jones first fight with Milton McCrory a draw but Jones was robbed that night.

GGG is getting his first loss Saturday night, but there is no shame in that, better fighters than him have lost.

I am not a GGG hater, just a patriotic brit who is rooting for his fellow brit, who WILL shock the world.

Indeed. They know that boy is a hype job. Anyway it doesn't matter about any excuses. If GGG lose or even if he win on a decision he is going to be clowned for a long time. He'll be looked at as a bigger fraud than Bernie Madoff. Everyone will rightly point out he couldn't knock out a guy who came up two weight classes for his first fight at MW. People will rightly say the FIRST time GGG fought a legit fighter(even a guy coming from 147LBs) he couldn't knock him out.

I think GGG is scared about this fight. I think the only reason GGG accepted it is for money AND the fact they thought Brook was going to come in as a small/weak 160 lber. But they see that Brook was bigger than GGG for most of the pre-fight and Brook look strong and muscular they are scared to death. GGG has never fought a legit guy before. Brook is legit. That has to be unsettling for GGG and all his fans.

As a GGG fan, I can say that I certainly don't find this unsettling. I find it hilarious how much hope some people seem to be giving themselves due to the fact he wasn't smiling at the weigh-in.

Its hype. But I'm feeling one of the FOTY for some reason. But also prepared for Brook to bite the dust. What if Brook dings him hard in the first 3 and shakes him up proper? Eh? Eh? Eh?

3 possibilities in this fight. 1. Triple G by KO, probably a left hook to the jaw. 2. Brook quits on his stool. 3. Brook begs the ref to stop the fight.

Only "win" for ggg is to knock brook out like many are expecting. He won't get credit for it but at least it would be another ko win. If he struggles and goes 12 or loses it's going to be a laugh.

Oh yeah i forgot that it rains every day in the UK

We all have bad teeth and speak like Dick Van Dyke did in Mary Poppins.

The temperature in Central London has been in the mid to high 70's for weeks, i'm sure with a couple of extra layers on GGG would have been able to cope.

I just don't see the size advantage GGG suppose to have. This fight will be a lot more competitive than people think. I wouldn't be surprise if Kell gets the win.
