GGG fans knocking Canelo for fighting Khan are hypocrites

GGGstans putting heat on Canelo for picking on a smaller guy when GolovKON himself is trying to do exactly the same thing.

34 and still yet to face an A level fighter, festering at MW begging for a payday against a LMW, this is getting embarrassing

its a never ending cycle with ggg fans

"well why should ggg fight ward at 168...hes not a draw....ggg is a small middle"

"why should ggg go to 155 to fight canelo...canelo can make 160...ya hes a draw but ggg doesn't have to do what canelo wants".....

these guys literally twist and contort logic and ideas to constantly make ggg free of any type of criticism

Yeah, it's totally the exact same thing. Not a single person in boxing media or fandom was insightful or smart enough to see it until you did.

    Special stuff, this.

We've all seen this before with the selective management of Lucien Bute.
K2 does the exact same thing with Golovkin as was done before.
Hide their fighter from the A-level while beating up bums to make them appear greater than they are.

Remember, according to ESB Bute fans (now Golovkin fans), in their eyes Bute was the most feared and ducked fighter in the division.
They said, it isn't his fault that Bute is being ducked by all of the elites.
They said Bute was intentionally locked him out of the Super 6 because the Showtime didn't want Bute to upset the planned winner; Kessler.

But the truth is Bute's management wanted to avoid any confrontation with any of the A-level until after the Super 6 and push Bute upfront to fighting the winner, even though he clearly didn't deserve it since just like Golovkin, he had fought no one.

Golovkin is exactly the same. The Russian version of Lucien Bute.

Now Bute, I mean Golovkin is to fight yet another b-level MW, Dominic Wade.
Don't get me wrong. I like Wade. To me, he's like the new Allen Green. Perhaps he would get better over time if his career were managed like Golovkin and his management set him up with 4 years of soft touches like Golovkin, but that won't be because Wade is a sacrificial lamb to add yet another mediocre opponent to GiGi's resume. Shades of Joe Calzaghe!

Thank God for GBP's Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan.

It's as plain to see as the nose on your face.
They always play these games with European fighters when they are managed by European promoters.

There couldn't be more misinformation in this if you'd tried.

Bute was locked out initially because Showtime wanted three American and three international fighters. He wasn't asked to fill in as a replacement because their plan was for the winner to have a showdown fight with Bute after the tournament.

Ward flip-flopped despite Bute offering to go to Oakland, so he traveled for the Froch fight instead. Want to know how I'm not spouting off nonsense like you? Here it is straight from the source:

This was taken prior to the Abraham fight: "Ward insists he's not looking past the tournament but thinks the winner should fight Bute (28-0, 23 KOs), who was not invited into the Super Six. "Some people would argue that the Super Six winner is the best; some would argue that Bute wasn't there so they're not the best," Ward says. "As a competitor, you want to face the best. He's the main guy out there, so you want to go right at him."
    http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/boxing/2011-05-12-andre-ward_N.htm

Here he is after the Froch fight with a complete 180:
"To be perfectly honest, no disrespect to Bute and his team, but they've sat back and they've fought B-level and C-level guys and he did what he was supposed to do," said Ward, failing to grasp that Bute wasn't invited to the Super Six and had no A-level opponents available to him. "He stopped them and he's gotten them out of there. But he's just been sitting back, waiting, while we've been fighting for the past two and a half years against top-level competition.

"So I don't have to go to Lucian Bute right now," Ward said. "We're going to sit back and I'm going to rest and we'll see what's next. I'm open for a Mikkel Kessler* clash. I would love to get that rematch and settle that score...."To be perfectly honest, I think Bute has to beat somebody. I'm just gonna be frank with you: He has to beat somebody, an A-level guy, to get a shot. We'll sit back and talk as a team, but off the top of my head, he has to beat somebody.

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7372586/andre-ward-lucian-bute-bout-looks-unlikely-time-being

    * he then turned down the offer for a Kessler rematch

And, humorously enough, then Andre got annoyed when Bute signed on for Froch, and bitter once Froch destroyed Bute and took thunder that could've went to him: "I was disappointed," Ward said. "Bute and his promoter were screaming and yelling that I was ducking them, then they go and make a two-fight deal with Froch where if he loses, he takes Froch back to Canada? I didn't understand that. I was never ducking him, I just wanted to build up the fight. I was coming off two years of grueling fights and I felt he needed to fight someone. But ducking him? Come on.
    http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/4/12/2943180/andre-ward-says-he-wanted-to-fight-lucian-bute-butes-team-disagrees

I don't think Andre was ducking Bute. I think it was just a dumb business decision. But to suggest Bute was ducking anyone is laughable considering he went to Froch's back yard to take that fight and would've gone to Oakland for Ward. I'm bolding that part because I'm certain you'd ignore it otherwise.

I like how you can defend Canelo holding the MW belt but refusing to fight above 155.
